Dear S B, I contributed $240, which is roughly (3 X $80.20) to Michelle Wu. Did I get it right? Bob

Dear Lt. Governor Woo, I've just donated $80.20 to Michelle Wu's campaign. I HAD ALSO DONATED $100 to her campaign back in March 2021. Cheers, Andrew

Dear SB, Please connect me to candidate Michelle Wu and her campaign manager. I know a startup with a proprietary system that can perhaps help her win her election. We need more politicians who really want to help #StopHate #StopAAPIHate. Thanks, Noel

Dear Readers: I can't resist my impulse to post the following incoming mail, although it is about another supporter donating $80.20 to Michelle Wu. :-). It's so encouraging to the 80-20 team which works hard to enhance our community's political maturity and our political clout: "I AM HAPPY TO SUPPORT CANDIDATES RECOMMENDED BY 80-20. I trust you to recommend good candidates! $80.20 to Michelle Wu. Cheers, Patti LiWang" S. B. WOO

This is the LAST of messages relating to donations to Michelle Wu that I'll post. I believe tens, if not hundreds, of such donations will be made. THANK YOU ALL. BTW, I just received a copy of a letter that Senator Chris Coons, a member of the Senate Judiciary Comm., sent to A.G. Garland. It was a JUDICIOUS & YET POWERFUL letter, which I shall share with 80-20 supporters via our E-newsletters of next Monday. S. B. WOO

CORRECTION. Sen. Coons had requested that this particular letter NOT be shared with the public. It was my fault that I didn't notice his request earlier. SB

I wish to express my appreciation for the posting about Michelle Wu, whom I just made a donation to her campaign. I wouldn't have known about her had I not received your email. Years ago, I was extremely disenchanted with your organization because of the propensity to claim 80-20 was the only organization that fought for social justice while denigrating all the others. In the beginning, you even claimed "a chink in the armor" was a racist terminology. Perhaps you were not aware of the term "chink" in another context. Keep up the good work, Dr Woo!

My friend: I believe I always knew the meaning for "a chink in the arm". Could you have forgotten me mixed up with someone else, since it was many year ago? In any respect, PEACE! There is no offense taken here. :-). SB

The answer if YES. In the US, the donation of money to a candidate is like the rights of "freedom of speech." Thanks for the question. SB
