This workshop will provide important information for ELL students, parents of ELLs, and parent coordinators on the New York State Dream Act (NYSDA). The NYSDA allows for undocumented students and students with other statuses to receive state funding to attend a SUNY or CUNY.

The Institutes are offered free of charge through a collaboration between New York University Steinhardt’s Department of Teaching and Learning, NYU Project Developing Chinese Language Teachers (DCLT) and the NYS Statewide Language Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN) at Metro Center.
Audience: Teachers of World Languages
Early Career Institute: July 10-12 (Wednesday-Friday), 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Continuing Career Institute: July 8 & 9 (Monday and Tuesday), 9:00am to 2:00pm
Home Language Arts Educators: July 15 & 16 (Monday and Tuesday), 9:00am to 2:00pm
