Expanding Health Savings Accounts Tops Large Employer Wish List

Expanded use of high deductible health plans and health savings accounts are the top recommendations that a group representing large employers has made to a House task force studying potential health-care policy changes.

In a letter sent Sunday to the House Budget Committee’s Health Care Task Force, the ERISA Industry Committee called for allowing workers who have tax-advantaged health savings accounts to use those HSAs to pay for work-site health clinics.
