Naming Opportunities

Leave your legacy at Mt. Carmel

Mt. Carmel provides the opportunity to memorialize special people or events through its Legacy Donation program.  Donation selections can be made from a wide range of artifacts on campus through a wide range of donation amounts from $150 for an inscribed brick installed on campus to a Chapel stained glass window at $20,000, to the dedication of an event venue like Ziccardi Hall at $300,000. For a list of Legacy Artifacts available and assistance on inscribing memorial plaque, please contact Ashley DiPaola at 719-845-4877 or adipaola@mtcarmelcenter.org

Inscribed Bricks are one of our most popular Legacy items.  Inscribed bricks without the Mt. Carmel logo are $150 while those with the logo are $175. To place an order directly, please use thatsmybrick.com. For assistance contact Ashley DiPaola.

General Donations

Mt. Carmel programs enhance the lives of every generation IN our community!

Unspecified donations ranging from $1 to hundreds of dollars are the life blood of a non-profit.  Most often, they cover the general operating costs of running an organization, the rent, utilities, maintenance, insurance, repairs, office supplies and employee salaries.  Too often these items are overlooked when thinking about making a donation.  This type of donation is welcomed at Mt. Carmel, however.

So please donate today and know that your contribution, however small it may be is received with whole-hearted gratitude.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Mt. Carmel offers sponsorship opportunities through community events and specific wellness and civic programs.  In appreciation of your donation, you will receive exclusive communications informing you how your financial investment impacts our organization throughout the year.  You will be among the first to learn about our exciting programs and events.  There are several levels of sponsorship within the community, wellness programming and youth enrichment activities.

Please see Ashley DiPaola for information.

IRA Mandatory Distribution
A qualifying charitable distribution (QCD) allows you to donate up to $100,000 per year directly to a qualified charity from your IRA annual mandatory distribution and exclude it from income.

Planned Giving
By making a gift in your will, trust or other estate planning vehicle, you can leave a legacy for future Trinidadians and Las Animas County residents.  Including Mt. Carmel Center in your estate plan simply takes a few sentences in your will or trust.  Your gift can be a specific sum or made as a percentage of your estate.

Beneficiary Designations
You can designate Mt. Carmel Center as a beneficiary of all or a portion of a life insurance policy (not owner), retirement fund or other assets such as real estate.
