    K. Frances Amoriell is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree at SUNY Plattsburgh. Her favorite writers are Walt Whitman, Mary Oliver, Edgar Allen Poe, and Clive Barker.

  • Kora Austin

    Kora Austin is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh. She is a majoring in English Writing Arts, with a certificate in Professional Writing. She enjoys reading fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, and mystery. After Kora graduates in the spring, she will be pursuing her JD.

  • Ashleigh Barcomb

    Ashleigh Barcomb is a senior in English: Writing Arts at SUNY Plattsburgh. Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared in North Star, SUNY Plattsburgh’s student literary magazine. She loves to read and write adult horror stories, along with fantasy, poetry, and memoir.

    Jacob Benbenek is an English Writing Arts major in his senior year at SUNY Plattsburgh. He’s an advocate for the under-appreciated art of poetry in both written and spoken word.

    Emma Peer is a junior English Writing Arts major at SUNY Plattsburgh. She loves poetry, fiction, and her cat.

  • Derek Samborski

    Derek Samborski is an English Writing Arts major in his senior year at SUNY Plattsburgh. He is the recipient of the 2022 Earl Harlan Award. He enjoys works of satire and magic realism from the likes of Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, and Haruki Murakami, amongst other works of fiction.

  • Nina Serafini

    Nina Serafini is a senior at SUNY Plattsburgh, triple majoring in English Writing Arts, Language Arts, and Literature, and earning a certificate in Professional Writing. Recently, she has worked on SUNY Plattsburgh’s student-run literary magazine, North Star, as the composition editor. She loves to read classics, mysteries/thrillers, and romance books. Following her graduation in the spring, Serafini hopes to attend graduate school to earn a degree in publishing.
