● It is expected that a selection of the conference papers will be published in Open Access in the International Journal of E-Planning Research (IJEPR), which is since January 2021 a Gold Open Access journal.


● IJEPR open access offers authors the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licensing arrangement. The copyright for the work remains solely with the author(s) of the article.


● The IJEPR is Indexed in: Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), SCOPUS, Compendex (Elsevier Engineering Index), INSPEC and 14 more indices.


The IJEPR is ranked in Scimago's Q2 (2nd Quartile) in 'Urban Studies', in 2019 and 2020, and Q2 also in 'Geography, Planning and Development' in 2020, and in the 75th percentile of Scopus's CiteScore, in Urban Studies, in 2020. The IJEPR is included in Class A Scientific journals by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (2018-2020), and in the Excellence in Research for Australia, from the Australian Research Council (ERA 2018 Journal List - ERA Journal Id 210655).


The IJEPR is a member of the COPE - Committee on Publication Ethics.


IJEPR is archived in the CLOCKSS - LOCKSS initiative.


● The selected papers will undergo the IJEPR standard double-blind peer-review process. The publication of this Special Issue is planned to occur in early 2022.


● Full paper to be submitted after the conference should have approx. 8,000 words.


● Papers focused on Track 3 - "Covid-19 Pandemic: City and Urban e-Planning' - will have a full APC waiver.


● Papers focused on Track 1 or on Track 2 will also have a full APC waiver if at least one of the following two conditions apply:

a) one of the authors is from one of the eligible developing countries (see list here > )

b) one of the authors is from an institution that is an IGI Global database customer


● Papers not covered by one the previous conditions will benefit of a special discounted APC, exclusive for the Conference 'Urban e-Planning' (down to 1/3 of the IJEPR standard APC).

● It is also expected that a selection of other papers will be published in a peer-reviewed book, free of charge for the authors.

● The conference will not publish "Conference Proceedings".
