Master of Science in Clinical Research (MS)

*Not Accepting Applications for Fall 2024.
The 12-month Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) program is a research training program designed specifically for U-M students in healthcare professional degree programs. Students take time out to complete an intensive, yearlong master’s program in clinical research. The program is designed to fill a unique gap in the educational training for clinical and translational researchers by introducing students to clinical research early in their professional careers. While this program is not accepting applications for the 2024-2025 year, students may be interested in our 42-credit accelerated MPH program (see above).

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The PhD program in Epidemiologic Science is administered by the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies. Its objective is to produce scientists who are experts in recognition and investigation of those basic aspects of etiology and pathogenesis of disease relevant to prevention and control of infectious and non-infectious diseases. Graduates are qualified for positions in academia, research institutes, government, and industry.
