Amid a report of Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder's retirement, could UNT's Seth Littrell be his replacement? 

Rumours about UNT head coach Seth Littrell replacing Bill Snyder at Kansas State are about to take off.

After coaching at Kansas State for 27 years over two different stints, The Manhattan Mercury reports that head coach Bill Snyder will announce his retirement from college football on Sunday.

According to a report from the Denton Record-Chronicle, Littrell's name has been mentioned prominently in connection with Kansas State.

However, UNT athletic director Wren Baker says differently, urging Mean Green fans to not worry about Littrell's departure.

Since Littrell has taken over as head coach at UNT in 2016, the Mean Green are 23-16 and finished with a 9-3 record this season.
