Interest Form: Supporting MLs/ELLs Using Supplementary Scaffolds with New Visions Biology Curriculum

Join the Division of Multilingual Learners (DML) and New Visions in a year-long professional learning series supporting MLs/ELLs with grade-level content and language growth using the New Visions Biology Curriculum with supplementary scaffolds that support ML/ELL students.

Primary outcomes:

  • Building awareness of contemporary approaches of science instruction aligned to P12 NYSSLS and the new Biology Regents Exam (Spring 2025)
  • Unpacking the supplemental DML Scaffolded Units for the New Visions Biology Curriculum and determining classroom implementation "look-fors"
