ELLtrepreneurs is a FREE comprehensive and inclusive summer work-based learning program that offers ELL students in grades 10-12 an opportunity to explore their entrepreneurial aspirations, develop essential skills, and gain practical knowledge in a supportive environment. The program aims to empower ELL students who have business ideas and aspire to build their own company or non-profit organization.

It cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset and provides a comprehensive career readiness experience for students, focusing on critical skills development, leadership cultivation and language enhancement. 

By Centering culture, identity, language and civic engagement within the business community, the program empowers students and nurtures their confidence. 

At the end of the summer program, students will have the chance to present their business ideas at a special celebration event, sponsored by the Division of Multilingual Learners. This offers an invaluable opportunity for students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial achievements and create connections within their community. Allowing them to showcase their work and receive recognition for their efforts. Students will also receive $550 upon program completion. 

This summer program is offered by the Division of Multilingual Learners (DML) in collaboration with SpeakHire, Google and Jamestown.

- Learn in a community classroom, Google's new Hudson River campus on Pier 57 between West 14th Street and West 15th Street on 11th Avenue

All fields must be completed to be considered.
Priority will be given to English Language Learners only.

Student participants must attend all sessions and complete all assignments and projects to be eligible for the $550 stipend.
