Select Soccer (Rec Plus) is open to all players born between the years of 2004 through 2014, regardless of player ability and experience level. Our goal is to provide a player - centered developmental experience and promote sportsmanship and teamwork. Teams will be registered in the WCCSF League (wcssf.org), and will play games against other local clubs (4 Home games and 4 Away games). Registration will close on March 15th. Registration may close earlier for certain age divisions if the number of teams registered with the league are filled prior to then. Following are the age groups by birth year for the 2022/2023 seasonal year: U9 - 2014, U10 - 2013, U11 - 2012, U12 - 2011, U13 - 2010, U14 - 2009, U15 - 2008, U16 - 2007, U17 - 2006, U18 - 2005, U19 - 2004 (only eligible to play if still in a High Scnool program). Players born in 2012 can play in either the U9-U11 group (7v7) or in the U11-U13 group (9v9), Players born in 2010 can play in either the U11-U13 group (9v9) or in the U13-U15 group (11v11). Players born in 2008 who are still in 8th grade will play in the U13-U15 group. Players born in 2008 who are in High School will play in the U15-U19 group. The U15-U19 group will play 11v11 in the Spring season. There is not a separate division for girls in any of the Rec Plus groups because many of the clubs do not have the player numbers to put together a girls team. Girls will play on teams with the boys in every division.
