Fan Information for Kentucky Proud Park

by Guy Ramsey

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky Proud Park is set to host its grand-opening game on Tuesday, Feb. 26 as the Kentucky baseball team hosts Eastern Kentucky at 4 p.m.

The $49 million stadium was completed this fall after construction began in March 2017. Kentucky Proud Park was named as a tribute to farmers and businesses of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Big Blue Nation. Kentucky Farm Bureau secured the rights to name the stadium from JMI Sports, UK Athletics’ multimedia rights partner. In turn, Kentucky Farm Bureau elected to name the stadium for Kentucky Proud, the state’s official agricultural marketing program housed at the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.

In advance of the start of the season, UK Athletics wishes to make fans aware of the following important game-day information as they plan trips to cheer on the Wildcats this season. Complete game-day information can be found at UKathletics.com/gameday. Fans are also encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions by emailing BBNfirst@uky.edu.
