Altenew-Watercolor Coloring Book-Artists' Watercolor Brushes - Detailed (2)

First of all, let's talk about the watercolor brushes... the quality of the brushes are awesome.Altenew-Watercolor Coloring Book-Artists' Watercolor Brushes - Round

The brushes are also ergonomic! I find them so easy to hold because of the way they were designed.

The brushes truly make water-coloring a delight!
Altenew-Watercolor Coloring Book-Woodless Watercolor Pencil 24 Set -004

For my projects, I used Woodless Watercolor Pencils. Those fine tips of the pencils make a difference for me. If you struggle with watercoloring, I highly recommend the Woodless Watercolor Pencils.

Since the size of the image is rather large, I actually cut the piece up and turned them into two cards.

The Essential Sentiment Die Set was very handy, too!

These are very pretty. I especially love the way you did your backgrounds.

Very pretty cards. You have a knack for painting...impressive.

Linda BL said...

Your cards are beautiful! I love both of them. The backgrounds are such a compliment to the flowers. The sentiment you used almost looks like a brass plate or copper— very classy. I am curious if you used a gold or copper embossed piece of card stock to cut the sentiment or is it shiny card stock. Whatever you used I would like to try it.

Lovely. Can’t wait to go paint.

Love your organic looking cards. This product is awesome! It will definitely encourage me to do crafting on the go. I have a hard time deciding what to bring on the go that I end up bringing nothing.

Virginia L. said...

Thank you, everyone, for your lovely and wonderful feedback. Much appreciated!!!
To Linda BL: I used a piece of gold card stock ( Altenew carries it) for the diecut sentiment and that’s it. After all that colouring, I didn’t want to spend more time on the projects.... heehee.
