 Happy May, my friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Build-A-Flower Indian Lotus with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Joylita Dsouza, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

Build-A-Flower: Indian Lotus Be true to yourself with this beautiful floral stamp set. This floral layering stamp set has a gorgeous 6-layered bloom along with a detailed coordinating lotus leaf. The accompanying leaf may also be used as a lily pad for extra versatility on your crafting projects. The beautiful accompanying sentiments are related to appreciating yourself, having confidence, and being authentic, so you can send motivation to your loved ones.

This set offers so many ways of using any mediums.

Let's start with the background, I stamped the leaves first and did some masking with the stencil.

When you have many large pieces of elements that you want to incorporate, I find it easiest is to use the coordinating dies and made them into one large piece.

If you look closely, you can see that the lotus leaves are in one large piece.

The stamped lotus was then placed over the lotus leaves/lily pad. Although there are many elements in this card, this card is mail-friendly!

I hope that you love seeing this 100% stamped and stenciled card.

Your background is just amazing. I would have never thought of the Feathered Leaves as a water background. It's perfect. I also love the leaves in the background. They give a depth to the water.
Thanks, Virginia.

Like everyone else, I love the idea that you used the leaves for your water. Very cool, but you always see additional uses for the ordinary. Thanks also for pointing out the sentiments. I had been caught up in the flowers. Beautiful card.

Lovely card Virginia! I like that you chose a stencil for the water section, and also that you only fully colored the leaves supporting the pretty lotus, this adds so much dimension to your design. Thanks for the inspiration!
