Altenew Build-A-Flower: Tree Peony Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Build-A-Flower with you.

Build-A-Flower: Tree Peony Product Description:  This set features an outline image and three coordinating coloring layers each for the petals and flower center. The coloring layers have been drawn in detail for stunning realism! We have also included a leaf image (outline + three coloring layers) and a dainty little branch with small buds and leaves The images are handy for flower arrangements or bouquets on your handmade cards, scrapbook layouts, journal pages, and DIY decor projects. Finally, finish off your project with any of the six sweet sentiments included in the set.

This is the time of the year to enjoy the blooming peonies. I have one lovely Peony in my yard as I get to see it in bloom. Currently, the buds are all formed and ready to bloom in this coming week. Since I am in Canada, peonies tend to bloom quite a bit later than most. Better late than never, right? Very exciting indeed! Now, let's take a closer look at the Tree Peony.

The details of this stamp set is INCREDIBLE! As I stamped each layer, the peony truly came to life!

To compliment such a gorgeous flower, I used Organic Linen 3D Embossing Folder. I inked up part of the textured background and  this really draws your eyes to the flowers. 

For Build-a-flower sets, I usually stamp a bunch of flowers and leaves to start.  I then selected a few of the best and assembled my card. This is how I approached with this design.
