Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 Hello friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Paint-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Paint-A-Flower Fashion Monger Dahlia with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Carol Hintermeier , you are in the right place. If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

This set of stamp is so very detailed. I decided to use Artist Watercolor 24 Pan set because the mix of pigment is not too heavy or too light.

I started out with painting each flower and enjoyed the slow coloring. In fact, if you do not rush coloring, this is really a totally satisfying process.

For the background, I mixed the Sea Shore paint with a tint of blue and that really made the flower colors pop.

I added part of the Floral Lace Die and loved how this framed the entire image. Altenew-PAF Fashion Monger Dahlia-Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set-Floral Lace Die-003

If you find the Floral Lace Die too large to use, you must try to use it in smaller scale. You will never have to buy any lace die ever again once you try the Floral Lace Die

I hope you like my interpretation with this month's Paint-a-flower Fashion Monger Dahlia.

The lace with watercolor background really frame the beautiful watercolored flowers. I have lots of white silk lace motifs ready for dyeing but may need to add to cards as is. Thanks for sharing!
