Altenew Inky Time Pigment Inks Blog Hop + Giveaway

  Hello friends!

Welcome to Altenew Inky Time Blog Hop. Altenew is well-known for the gorgeous ink color and superb quality. The Altenew Mixed Media Ink are the Pigment Ink. You can read all about it here.

If you arrive from the blog of Erum Tasneem, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

Let me tell you one big thing I love about these colorful pigment inks. They BLEND.

Altenew-Summer Fun Pigment Ink Bundle -Henna Square Stencil -BAF-AfricanDaisy-Nesting Slim Rectangles Die-001

Because these Pigment Inks are so juicy, they blend like butter. In fact, you can see that the colors mixed so well that they became a different color/hue!

If you struggle with ink-blending, you will not disappoint with these Pigment Ink. It didn't take me long to ink up the background with Henna Square Stencil.

On a side note, here is a tip about using Slimline Rectangle Dies! I die cut the one of the rectangle die and it is great for getting the piece cut exactly. You know how tricky to it can get with cutting vellum. There is one more "reason" to get the Slimline Rectangle Dies!

I stamped the sentiment (from Paint-a Flower  African Daisy) in Obsidian Pigment Ink
and clear-embossed it. Yes, you can clear-emboss the image right after you stamp with Pigment Ink.

Absolutely gorgeous blending. The colors are so pretty and the “new” colors that result from blending are fabulous! The Henna Stencil is perfect for showing off the new colors ( sorry about above typos)…

So many possibilities with these inks. The colors are wonderful. All your cards are beautiful. I particularly love the ones using embossing folders. I've spent the morning playing with one of my favorite embossing folders (from the Hello Beautiful Create Your Life kit) and tried my hand at inking over the embossed image. While they turned out well, I definitely need those amazing inks!
