Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are working to ensure the Gordie Howe International Bridge accommodates the needs of its future commercial users and is positioned to take advantage of emerging technologies that will help provide an efficient border crossing experience.
In partnership, the three organizations invite commercial users to attend a Border Processing Workshop to learn about the current planning processes and anticipated technologies for the new crossing.
Following the workshop, attendees may also choose to attend an optional bus tour of the Canadian Port of Entry to view the contruction to date. The one-hour tour will begin at 11:00 a.m.
This workshop and optional tour is open to businesses through advance registration only. Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-reserved basis. Attendance is limited to two representatives per company or business. WDBA reserves the right to cancel any registrations received beyond the first two company representative registrations. Topics of interest or questions may be submitted during the registration process. Onsite registration will not be available.
Please note the Gordie Howe International Bridge is currently in a procurement phase and this may affect the ability of WDBA, CBSA and/or CBP to answer or respond to some topics of interest.
