About Us
Day County Champion Community (DCCC) was organized in 1999 with a mission to enhance opportunities for economic and community development in Day County. This group was formed to effectively utilize resources in the areas of business development, tourism, agriculture, education and technology, and quality of life. The DCCC took the lead by identifying the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of the county and then established a vision in which Day County would continue to grow into the future.
DCCC is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing all areas of the county, and share an executive director with Webster Area Development Corporation. We also partner with several organizations throughout the region and across the state to connect our local communities and businesses to the resources they need to be successful. We believe that by taking a well-rounded, proactive approach in developing our communities, Day County will continue to prosper!
