Description
Castle Farms of Charlevoix is one of Michigan's top historic attractions. Family friendly fun awaits as you tour this beautiful French Renaissance castle built in 1918. Marvel at the soaring stone towers and buildings, plus visit the European gardens. Museum quality collections showcased throughout the Castle include antique toys, castles, World War I artifacts, plus royalty memorabilia from around the world. The Castle's Outdoor Model Railroad is the largest in Michigan, featuring over 70 G-scale trains steaming across more than 1/2 mile of track (May-October, weather permitting). Picnic on site.Fully handicapped accessible.Open year round for historic guided and self-guided tours. Castle Farms was recently named one of AARP's "Top Ten Must-See American Castles"
