Golden Mile 2023 Auction

Lake Cane Restoration Society (LCRS) strives to keep Lake Cane Swimmable, Fishable, and Lovable! Funds raised at the Golden Mile Swim and auction pay the operating costs of water sampling, bio-augmentation, weather monitoring, technology interface, administrative costs, safer swimmer buoys and more!

LCRS supports data collection through water testing and regular monitoring of the impact of neighborhood runoff and the weather. We support the lake swim and are continuously exploring interventions that will improve the clarity and the quality of the water.

The mission of LCRS is to keep Lake Cane swimmable, fishable, and lovable, and to serve as an example to other lakes. Data-gathering equipment and supplies, shoreline plants, bio-augmentation, safer swimmer buoys, and insurance are just some of the expenses these proceeds will help to offset.
