Bean Family Papers
Description
Collection relating to Charles Edwin Woodrow Bean and the history of Brentwood School, Essex, 1904-1966.
The collection consists of correspondence and ephemera recieved and collected by Bean from members of his family following his return to Australia from England in 1904. The correspondence largely relates to the history of Brentwood School in Essex where Bean recieved his education from the age of around twelve, and where his father, Edwin Bean, was the headmaster. The ephemera consists of booklets and other material related to Brentwood School, which had been circulated between Charles and his brothers Jack and Montague for comment.
