*****UPDATE FEB 12***** The February 12 workshop in Seattle has been rescheduled to March 4, 1-4 PM at the same location in the King Street Center. The February 25 workshop in Everett is still expected to occur as planned.
If you registered for the February 12 workshop, your RSVP has been automatically updated to attending on March 4. If you can't make it on March 4, please click the makes change link in your original Order Confirmation from Brown Paper Tickets to adjust your RSVP. Thank you, The IDDE Project Team
*********************** These workshops are for municipal government environmental and stormwater staff to discuss and provide feedback on their illicit discharge detection and elimination (IDDE) programs and field methods.
The workshops are part of a Dept of Ecology Stormwater Action Monitoring (SAM) project being led by King County and its consultants (Aspect Consulting and Herrera Environmental Consultants). The project will update the 2013 Illicit Connection and Illicit Discharge (IC/ID) Field Screening and Source Tracing Manual (http://www.wastormwatercenter.org/illicit-connection-illicit-discharge) and will provide hands-on trainings to municipal staff through western Washington in late 2019 and early 2020.
If you do IDDE work to trace sources of stormwater pollution, please join us on February 25 in Everett or on March 4 in Seattle to have your input be included in the update to the IC/ID Manual.
