Farewell, Reverse Confetti

Hello there, I am delighted, honoured and saddened to be joining Reverse Confetti today as part of an Instagram hop. Why saddened? because if you haven't already seen the news, after almost 10 years Reverse Confetti have decided to close. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I have loved and used Reverse Confetti products for a long time.

I have been honoured to have worked with them for the last four and a half years as part of their release blog hops. They will be truly missed but the shop remains open for the time being with 40% discount off of all products. So, if you like something, please do grab it while you can.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

For my card today, I started off by creating the background. I took a panel of watercolour paper and die cut it using the Reverse Confetti Diagonal Stitched Cover Panel Confetti Cuts

I then sprayed it with various Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stains. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner, Chipped Sapphire and Villainous Potion. I also used a little Salty Ocean Oxide Spray. I then spritzed it with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz and Tim Holtz Tarnished Brass Distress Mica Spray before setting it aside to dry.

Once dry, I added ink blending to the edges using Chipped Sapphire and Villainous Potion Distress Inks. The panel was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner. I took the Reverse Confetti Joy to the World Confetti Cuts and cut it three times from white cardstock. They were stacked one on top of another for added dimension and adhered to the card.

I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Christmas Card Greetings Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and added to the card with thin foam tape.

I die cut the heart from the Reverse Confetti Love Wins Confetti Cuts three times from red cardstock and layered them up on the 'J'. I added an Iridescent Jewel to finish.

LOOKING BACK: FAVOURITE REVERSE CONFETTI PROJECTS

Before I go, I wanted to share some of my favourite previous projects with you using Reverse Confetti. As well their products being excellent quality, I love the quirkiness to their sets. I have always found them slightly different than what is already on the market, which I have appreciated.

Top left - I do not know why, but I think this might be my favourite project I have ever made with Reverse Confetti products! It uses the Holiday Gnomes and Seasonal Says It All sets. You can read how I made the tag HERE

Top right - These are recent makes. Both the card and tag use the Love Bugs Stamp Set and the Postal Cover Panel Dies. You can read how I made the card and tag HERE

Bottom left - This card uses the beautiful Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts along with the Thanks and Hello Duo Word Dies. Sadly, both have now left the website so I cannot link to them but you can read how I made the card HERE

Bottom right - These tags use the Dashed Line Tag Die (one of my favourite ever dies!) as well as the Holiday Bough and Seasonal Says It All sets. You can read how I made the tags HERE

Reverse Confetti | September 2022 Release

Hello there, today I have a card and tag to share with you using products from the Reverse Confetti September 2022 Release, which is out today!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I am using the new Poinsettia set, along with the Christmas Card Greetings set, for both my card and tag today. I had a lot of fun colouring in these florals/foliage. They have a modern feel to them and pack a big impact!

I started off my card by stamping the poinsettia, holly branch (with berries) and foliage from the Reverse Confetti Poinsettia Stamp Set on to white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

I then coloured them using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list for reference) before die cutting out with the Reverse Confetti Poinsettia Confetti Cuts

I then look the Reverse Confetti Along the Dotted Line Cover Plate and die cut it form a panel of white cardstock. It was cut into a smaller panel and then the holly branch and foliage adhered on top with liquid glue.

The poinsettia was adhered on top with thin foam tape. The panel was then adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with more thin foam tape.

I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Christmas Card Greetings Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Veramark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and adhered to the card. To finish off, I added a few Little Things from Lucy's Cards Iridescent Jewels.

If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I cannot resist a coordinating tag! While I was stamping the Reverse Confetti Poinsettia Stamp Set, I stamped double and coloured them in the same way and die cut out.

I die cut another panel using the Reverse Confetti Along the Dotted Line Cover Plate and then further die cut it using the Reverse Confetti Lovely Tag Confetti Cuts

I cut the holly leaves from the branch using scissors (fussy cut around the berries), so that I could have individual ones. They, along with the other foliage, were adhered to the tag with liquid glue.

The poinsettia was then adhered on top with thin foam tape, followed by the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Christmas Card Greetings Stamp Set, which was also white heat embossed on to black cardstock. I finished off by adding twine through the tag and tying in a bow as well as embellishing with jewels.

Reverse Confetti | July 2022 Release Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Reverse Confetti for their July 2022 Release Blog Hop today. This is such a fabulous release and my projects today give me all the summer vibes (we are in the middle of a heat waves here in the UK, so they are very appropriate!). More details on the hop below.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

My first project uses the new Reverse Confetti Dog Days Stamp Set. This set features some super cool dogs (I use one on my next project) but I fell in love with the palm trees and sun image so wanted the focus to be on that. It was stamped on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured it with Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list) and die cut it out using the coordinating Reverse Confetti Dog Days Confetti Cuts

I took a panel of white cardstock and using the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil, blended on Distress Inks for the clouds. I used Worn Lipstick at the top, followed by Dried Marigold and then Squeezed Lemonade. For the sand, I used the MFT Drifts & Hills Stencil and Antique Linen Distress Ink. The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base with thin foam tape.

I die cut two additional layers of the image from white cardstock and stacked them up before adhering to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Sunny Flower Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied White Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Little Things Raindrops

I couldn't resist making a tag with the Reverse Confetti Dog Days Stamp Set, so I stamped the palm tree image again but masked off the smaller tree. I also stamped the dog with the surfboard. They were coloured using Copic Markers and die cut out.

I die cut a Reverse Confetti Lovely Tag Die from white cardstock for the main tag and black cardstock for the hole reinforcer. On the white part, I added ink blending with Distress Inks for a subtle beach/sea/sky background. I used Antique Linen for the sand, Peacock Feathers for the water and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky.

The images were added on top with thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti Dog Days Sentiments Stamp Set on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was fussy cut out with scissors and added to the tag. To finish off, I added twine through the top of the tag and Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the dog's sunglasses. I also some white gel pen highlights to the images.

My final project for today uses the new Reverse Confetti Sunny Flower Stamp Set. This stamp is great because you can really mix and match the different elements. There is an outline, a solid image, added detail, different flower centres etc. I stamped the flower outline and leaves images multiple times on to vellum using Versamark Ink

I applied white embossing powder and heat set. They were die cut out using the Reverse Confetti Sunny Flower Confetti Cuts. I also cut two flower centres from yellow cardstock. I then die cut the Reverse Confetti Large Rainbow Circle Confetti Cuts from shades of pink, yellow and aqua cardstock. They were layered on to a white circle die cut with thin foam tape. The circle was then adhered to a 4.25" x 4.25" white card base.

The flowers were adhered with thin foam tape and then the leaves tucked underneath and adhered with liquid glue. The sentiment was heat embossed on black cardstock and cut in to a strip before adding to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added pink and yellow enamel dots.

Reverse Confetti | 9th Birthday Release Blog Hop

Hello there and welcome as we celebrate the May 2022 release from Reverse Confetti. It is extra exciting because it is Reverse Confetti's 9th Birthday too! I have loved Reverse Confetti's style from the beginning and I am so happy and honoured that I work with them for their releases. Every release just puts a smile on my face! :) We are celebrating the release with a fun, inspirational blog hop. More details on that below.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

For my first two cards, I am using the super cure Birthday Buddies set, along with the Birthday Buddies Banter set which features really fun sentiments to go along with the images.

I started off my first card by stamping the bee from the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I also stamped the heart trail from the Reverse Confetti Love Bugs Set. The bee was coloured using Copic Markers. It was die cut out using the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Confetti Cuts and set aside.

I die cut the Reverse Confetti Big Sun Confetti Cuts from white and yellow cardstock. On the yellow layers, I added ink blending with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mustard Seed and Wild Honey. They were then adhered to white layers for some added dimension. I also die cut three clouds from the Reverse Confetti Over the Rainbow Confetti Cuts from white cardstock.

The sun was added to an A2 white card base with liquid glue and then the bee, trail and clouds added with a combination of thin foam tape and glue. I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Banter Stamp Set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Cards Raindrops.

For my next card, I started off by stamping the turtle and balloons from the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them with Copic Markers and die cut them with the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Confetti Cuts

I took a panel of white cardstock and added ink blending to it with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes. I used Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Prize Ribbon and Shaded Lilac. I then splattered on Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White Paint and set it aside to dry.

Once dry, it was adhered to an A2 white card base and then the balloons added on top with another two layers of white die cuts. The turtle was added with foam tape. The sentiment, from the Reverse Confetti Birthday Buddies Banter Stamp Set, was heat embossed in white on to black cardstock, cut out and added to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Lucy's Cards Raindrops.

For my last card, I couldn't resist inking up the beautiful Wildflowers set. This set is so pretty and perfect for colouring but can be used without too, like I have done today. I started off by creating my ink blended background using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks on Heavystock Cardstock. I used Ink Blending Tools and Domed Foams with Chipped Sapphire, Shaded Lilac and Kitsch Flamingo Oxide Inks.

I then spritzed on some water before setting it aside to dry. Once dry, It was die cut using the frame in the Reverse Confetti Layered Mom with Frame Confetti Cuts. I also die cut the frame separately from white cardstock twice. On the inside piece of the ink blended one, I stamped the Reverse Confetti Wildflowers Stamp Set image using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.

I then stamped the sentiment from the set above the flowers. The piece, along with the frame were then splattered with Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White Paint and Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz. It was set aside to dry and once dry, I layered up the frame and adhered it to a 4" x 5.25" white card base. The stamped piece was then popped inside.

Reverse Confetti | Happy Easter Tag

Hello there, following on from yesterday's post, I have another project to share with you using products from the Reverse Confetti March 2022 Release. Today I am using the Better with Friends set again and combining it with the Easter Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. This set is full of lovely smaller dies, as well as a shaped cover die.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by stamping the bunny from the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured her with Copic Markers and cut her out using the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends Confetti Cuts. I then took the egg dies from the Reverse Confetti Easter Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and cut them from white cardstock.

Using ink blending brushes, I blended on Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers. I took the Reverse Confetti Celebrate Tag Confetti Cuts and cut the tag from white cardstock. I placed the MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil on top and blended on Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. I then used the MFT Drifts & Hills Stencil to create hills for the bunny to stand on.

For those, I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I die cut the happy easter word, from the Reverse Confetti Easter Cover Panel Confetti Cuts, four times - three times from white cardstock and once from Lavender cardstock. On the lavender one, I blended on Tim Holtz Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Ink

They were layered up on on top of another and then added to the tag with liquid glue. The eggs were then added, followed by the bunny, adhering with foam tape. I added another tag to the back (for stability and neatness) and then added the hole reinforcer cut from white. I tied twine through the top of the tag and then finished off by adding white gel pen highlights.

Reverse Confetti | March 2022 Release Blog Hop

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Reverse Confetti today to celebrate the release of the March 2022 products with a fun blog hop. There are 5 new stamp sets and 10 new Confetti Cuts die sets releasing today. The sets are all spring themed, which happens to be my favourite season! More details on the hop below.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

For my projects today, I am using the new Better with Friends and Picnic Pals sets. These sets are so cute and feature bunnies and their friends. I created a card and tag today. I also have a project up tomorrow using another of the bunnies!

For the card, I started off by taking a panel of white cardstock and stamping the images from the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends Stamp Set on to it, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured them with Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area) and die cut them out using the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends Confetti Cuts

I took a panel of white cardstock and placed the MFT Rectangle Extraordinaire Stencil on top. Using ink blending brushes, I blended on Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch for the sky and Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness for the grass. It was then adhered to an A2 white card base with tape runner.

I adhered the larger flowers and bee trail with tape runner, the smaller flowers and bee with thin foam tape and the bunny with regular foam tape. I took the sentiment, from the Reverse Confetti Picnic Pals Stamp Set, and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card with more foam tape.

For my tag, I started off by die cutting the Reverse Confetti Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts from white cardstock. I placed the MFT Mini Cloud Stencil on top and blended on Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink, moving the stencil down to cover the tag. I stamped the sun image from the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends Stamp Set followed by the branch (which is part of a larger tree image) and bird nest from the Reverse Confetti Picnic Pals Stamp Set on to white cardstock with more Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

They were coloured using Copic Markers and die cut out using the Reverse Confetti Better with Friends and Picnic Pals Confetti Cuts. The branch and sun were adhered to the tag with thin foam tape, cutting off the excess over hanging the tag. The bird and nest were adhered with regular foam tape.

I took the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Word Up Stamp Set and heat embossed it in white on to black cardstock. It was cut in to a strip and added to the tag using foam tape. To finish off, I added white gel pen highlights to the images, Little Things from Lucy's Cards Bubbles and then twine through the top of the tag. I thought it would make a cute pregnancy/new baby project.

Reverse Confetti | Bee Mine

Hello there, today I have a tag to share with you using some products from the fabulous January release from Reverse Confetti. A lot of the products work perfectly together so for today, I thought I would create a Valentine's tag with three different sets. You can see my first projects using the release here

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

For my tag, I started off by die cutting the Reverse Confetti Lovely Tag Die from white cardstock and the hole reinforcer from black cardstock. In the set, you also get two heart dies. I cut these from Hero Arts Cherry Cardstock and then added some ink blending to them using Tim Holtz Aged Mahogany Distress Ink. Its pretty subtle but in real-life, I think it makes a difference!

I layered up the hearts so that they were two die cuts high and adhered them on to the tag. I then stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti Big Heart Sentiments Stamp Set using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. It was die cut using the Reverse Confetti Big Heart Sentiments Confetti Cuts. I also die cut more of the die so that I could stack it up also, for added dimension, before adhering to the tag.

I took the adorable bee from the Reverse Confetti Love Bugs Stamp Set and stamped it on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured him with Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies area) and die cut out using the Reverse Confetti Love Bug Confetti Cuts. It was adhered to the card with foam tape. To finish off, I added twine through the top of the tag and white gel pen highlights on the hearts, which is something I saw Audrey Tokach do, and loved!
