I'm having issues with my 8K/HDMI 2.1 Denon receiver when passing 8K/60 and 4K/120 signals from certain source devices. What should I do to correct this issue?

Why does my TV show a black screen and no audio when trying to pass through 4K/120 or 8K signals from gaming devices connected to the 8K input of my Denon A/V receiver?
We're providing an easy to setup SPK618 HDMI adapter at no cost during the warranty period as a permanent solution for this issue to customers who are experiencing this type of issue with their Denon A/V receivers supporting 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolutions (See list of models affected below).

The SPK618 HDMI adapter is designed to remedy the compatibility issue between Denon A/V receivers supporting 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolutions and gaming consoles that support 4K/120 and 8K/60 video resolution output.

Please note: This solution works only with the models listed below that are having problems working with some gaming consoles at 4k/120. Consumers with non 8K Denon AVR models should NOT order the SPK618.

You will NOT need this adapter unless you plan on running the latest gaming consoles at 4K/120 or 8K video resolutions through your AV receiver.
