San Francisco begins RFP for retail in Terminal 3 Boarding Area F

San Francisco International Airport has begun the Request for Proposals (RFP) for a trio of seven-year leases in the Boarding Area F area of Terminal 3 at the Californian airport.

Lease one is for a package of three stores: a newsstand (105sqm), beauty speciality store (99sqm) and gourmet market (69sqm); the second lease is for a sunglasses speciality store (29sqm); and the final lease is for a sports apparel or candy speciality store (88sqm).

The minimum acceptable financial offers for the leases are:  Lease 1 – $1.1m; Lease 2 – $145,000; Lease 3 – $150,000, which will be the successful proposer’s minimum rent for the first year of the Lease.  Annual Rent shall be the higher of the Minimum Annual Guarantee or the following percentage of rent on an accumulative basis:

Further information on the concessions will be given at an informational conference held at the airport on 15 November and further questions must be filed by 21 November. RFPs will then need to be submitted by 30 January 2019 with the concessions expected to be awarded in March 2019.
