Description
This workshop is designed to provide you with the most current and effective housing support activities from
across North America combined with updated tools and strategies to enhance your effectiveness as a Housing Based Case Manager/Support Worker and the Team Leader that supervise housing programs. The workshop is
designed to be pragmatic, current and practitioner oriented. This full day training highlights what housing-based case managers need to know and practice in order to be effective in keeping people with moderate or
higher acuity housed. Included is an outline of the 5 Essential and Sequential Elements to Housing Stability, crisis planning, non-judgmental practice, providing supports with a harm reduction orientation, establishing the first case plan, client-centred guest policy development, the honest monthly budget, meaningful daily activities, and exit planning.
