Description

Community readiness is central to the work of conducting a needs assessment and to beginning to address important issues that impact the health and wellbeing of a community. Join us in your community to learn about a new way to approach community readiness.

This training will provide an in-depth introduction to the Tri-Ethnic Model of Community Readiness (TE-CRM) and to provide opportunities to practice aspects of the TE-CRM. At this training you will also learn about how an understanding of community readiness can further the work of local communities, coalitions, and groups. TE-CRM is a valuable tool when addressing any subject matter a coalition is facing, including the opiate epidemic, mental health, and problem gambling.
