healing and positive change

Ewa Josefsson is a certified hypnotist, as well as a senior yoga and meditation teacher. She hosts workshops, programs, retreats and yoga teacher trainings. For the past decade, Ewa has been creating a safe space for self-knowledge, healing and change:

"We create the life we believe we deserve. Small daily efforts become the foundation of big life success. Healing and positive change is not as mystical as we’re led to believe, it's actually much more common and conversational. It’s in the way you talk to yourself. It’s in the way you focus and find your flow.

Yoga, meditation and hypnosis are tools we can use to change our llives. We are endlessly more capable of change than we realize.”

Ewa was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. She moved to the US and New York City at the age of 25, then working as a freelance reporter. Shortly after arriving to NYC she found yoga and meditation. The practice led to a much needed unraveling of a difficult childhood, suppressed emotions, as well as inherent strengths and resources she wasn’t previously aware of.

She worked as a full-time yoga teacher in Miami for almost a decade, specializing in handstands, flow states, dream yoga and lucid dreaming. She is a teacher of teachers since 2020, co-teaching three 200 hour yoga trainings per year with Miriam ‘Mimi’ Ghandour, as well as the twice yearly meditation training Healing Words - The Art of Leading Guided Meditations.

Ewa’s journey to understand the subconscious mind - a topic she’s been focusing consistently on throughout life - led her to the science and art of hypnosis. She had a baby boy named Rumi in 2017 and shortly after returned to NYC to study hypnosis with hypnosis artist and author Shauna Cummins (The Wishcraft).

Today Ewa offer weekly yoga classes in Wynwood at Mimi Yoga, workshops at the Standard and Faena Hotels, as well as Transformational Hypnosis sessions to select clientele.
