Taylor Farmer's Paralympic Quest

My sport is Paralympic 10 meter competion air rifle shooting. It is governed nationally by USA Shooting (USAS) , and internationally by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).  I compete in this Paralympic sport due to the Cerebral Palsy I was born with and have lived with all of my 19 years.
I started my sport in September 2015, and in just a little over four months I was shooting Miniumum Qualifying Scores (MQS) in the IPC R2 event. Firing a MQS score means I could compete in an IPC World Cup. However, to compete in a World Cup Event means that I am on my own financially until I make the National Team.
Since my start in September 2016, I have competed in as many matches as I can,  both within driving distance, and within my families budget. I have been quite succesfull in some of the high profile matches I have competed in, namely:
-2016 USAS Junior Olympic Qualifier. Fired score that would have earned an invite to Junior Olympic Championships, however USAS did not have a Division for disabled athletes at the time.
-2016 NRA Open Sectional, Columbus OH, Air Rifle Gold Medal
-2016 NRA Junior Indoor National Championship, Air Rifle Silver Medal (2nd Place in the Nation)
-2016 USAS National Championships, Fort Benning GA. Placed 62d out of 115 women athletes in my first ever National Championship
-2017 USAS Junior Olympic Qualifier
-2017 NRA Open Sectional, Columbus OH, Air Rifle Gold Medal
-2017 USAS Paralympic Junior Olympics, First Time    Ever Paralympic Invitee. Competetion to be held in  April 2017
As these awards show, I am committed to this sport and in the short time I have competed it shows I have what it takes.
I would need these funds to respectfully manage travel expenses to high profile matches both nationally and internationally. My first high profile match is the Junior Paralympic Championships in Colorado Springs in April 2017. I then plan on competing in the USAS National Championships in Fort Benning Georgia in June 2017. I am in wheelchair, which means it is extremely difficult to travel alone, due to amount of gear to be carried, which includes my own luggage, along with a rifle case and equipment bag.
My goal is to be recognized by the Paralmpic National Coach whereby I can become a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center, therefore becoming a member of USAS Shooting's Paralympic Team. This will lead toward my ultimate goal of competing in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. However, as I have mentioned above, I need to travel to these high profile matches, and this is where the greatest expense lies.
So, I ask you to kindly consider donating to my Paralympic Quest and Dream. I promise to use the funds in a respectfull manner for travel expenses first and foremost, and for equipment if the need arises.
Thank You,
Taylor Farmer
