Princess Corla was supposed to be my soulmate.
But we were star crossed.
Two ships passing in the dark. Meant to be together, but never able to be together.
At least that’s what I thought.
But it turns out—my life is a lie, evil forces are out to get us, Harem Station is spinning chaos, and the soulmate bond won’t protect us.
Sounds pretty bad, right?
But here’s the best part.
I can change it.
I can change all of it.
If I can just find a way to get myself uncrossed.

Uncrossed is the last book in the Harem Station Series and features a man chasing his star-crossed soulmate through time, a bazillion enemies at the gate, an entire station in chaos, and an explosive ending that proves, once and for all, that love WINS in the end.

Crux and the multiverse of madness!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🪐💫🌕☄️🌏
Character development: 👽🤖👽🤖👽

The heroine: Corla - the silver princess who started all the boys of Harem Station on their Journey. Back when they were teenagers and on the Akeelian planet, Corla and Crux were forced into a breeding ceremony and afterwards, Corla gives Crux the plan for them to send her through the spin node and gave the boys coordinates and had them escape through the node to ALCOR Station.

The Hero: Crux - Crux came to Harem Station as a teenage boy and was immediately put in charge of the station by ALCOR. While his brothers got to travel the Galaxy and create new virtual worlds, he was stuck being Governor of Harem Station, building bots, fixing water filtration systems, and making sure the station was safe for the millions of residents, while his one and only love is locked away and frozen in a cryopod.

The Story: Just when I thought things couldn’t get any more complex in the Harem Station world (after Veiled Vixon), it gets even crazier. This book begins with Crux being woken up from the time pause that Veila and Valor created to put Harem Station back in order during the final war.

Crux is woken up by Flicka, the dragon bee-bot, and ends up trying to save his daughter Delphi who was stuck in the spin node on level 122. He ends up going through the spin node over and over and being thrown into his own body each time, though it is his body in different multi-verses. Where he and Corla live different lives in each one.

Throughout this series, I have wavered on whether Real ALCOR and his various mini-me’s (Baby ALCOR, and A-hole ALCOR) are good or bad A.I.’s. That continued in this book and I wavered a few times on all of these, though I really liked all of them in their own ways. Another one I absolutely loved was Flicka, the Dragon Bee-Bot.

This book was told mostly from Crux’s point of view, but also had some chapters in a few other POV’s, including A-hole ALCOR, Tray and some others and it was narrated by Shane East and C.J. Mission. They did a great job. I really enjoy both of them. Shane East was the voice of the A.I.’s and I like the proper British accent for the A.I.’s.

Life is a death sentence!

One thing I know for certain is that as much as these complicated plots and storylines frustrate me, I do love them so much. It is rare to get such a complex and infuriating stories in alien romance books, and this series and this world has been so detailed, so fun and so deep, which is refreshing to say the least.

What an ending to an epic series. Crux story I knew would be worth the wait. Crux has always been the one everyone trust and now he needs to do whatever he can to save his brothers. I like the twists in Crux’s story. This was an insane, crazy out of this world adventure that I absolutely loved. Amazing series with a phenomenal ending. Another amazing series that will have everyone hooked.

Crux's story to finish out this series went totally in an unexpected direction. By the time the end came it was bittersweet and my mind is blown. I'm stunned, I can't believe its over! Series needs to be read in order.

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

This was the final book in this series and I just have to say, it was a lot of information on a lot of different characters.
J..A. Huss (KC Cross) still managed to tie it all up in a beautiful bow and give us a happy ending that I never saw coming.
Just fabulous!

Harem Station f**king rules. Such a great series! As a fan of sci fi romance, they are ALL the same and I do love even the most formulaic "mars needs women" schlock but this is so different and imaginative. The story is complex and captivating, the characters are fun, the relationships are warm and fuzzy and the sex scenes are pretty hot, though by the end of the series, I wasn't even reading for that anymore. I enjoyed these as audiobooks, and the series is a different narrator for each of the brothers and their princesses and they are a-list narrators. Also Julie (aka J.A. Huss aka K.C. Cross) does little personal notes at the end and it's pretty interesting. She talks about all sorts of things about how the books evolved and what influenced her characters & world building. I hope she writes more stuff like this. I read her SuperAlpha series and she talks about an old series called I am just jnco but only the first one is out as an audiobook. I will probably check out some of her contemporary stuff even though that's not my usual sweet spot, genre-wise. But I definitely get why J.A. Huss fans are SO hardcore. She's brilliant. This series helped me through the pandemic. Love it. Forever favorite. Great re-readability.

4.5-stars!

That was totally unexpected and I loved it! Uncrossed by KC Cross, also known as JA Huss, is the last book in the Harem Station series. All I have to say is be ready for quite the ride! I had never read a sci-fi romance prior to this series and was definitely pleasantly surprised. This series definitely needs to be read in order, but the series is now complete!

Here we have Crux and Princess Corla’s story. What will Crux do to get the answer he needs? Will he be able to finally truly unite with his soulmate? So many questions and we are literally kept on the edge of our seats until the very end. But we know this author loves to takes us on incredible journeys and then bring it all together and she does here as well. Uncrossed by KC Cross (JA Huss) was steamy, full of twists and turns and had great characters.

Happy reading!

The conclusion is finally here!!!! Uncrossed is amazing. I am keeping this short and sweet. If you have read the previous books then, hello, you'll want to read this. If you like sci-fi, hot steamy moments and a great story line then you'll want to read this series.

Say it isn't so!!!

I can't believe it's the last book. I really didn't want the series to end, it was that fascinating and engaging. I wish I could go back and read it all again. And eventually, I will because I always feel like I missed something the first time around- especially after reading this one. Wow...

Oh my gosh. This was definitely a whirlwind ending to the series. There is a little trouble with time for instance. And I love stories where time has a role to play. There was a lot of science around time, and I absolutely loved it! I need to listen to the audiobook that partly inspired Ms Huss when it came to time!
Even with time such an important factor, the story and overall arc and the plot still had importance, too. And the characters definitely moved the story forward as well.
Between the mystery, the fights, the betrayals, the lies and the final decisions, it was impossible to guess how it would all end.

An explosive ending to a truly epic series...

I’m not going to lie about this one - I spent the first 90% of this book scratching my head, going... yeah, but where is this going?! What does it all MEAN?! Proving once again that she is the master of world-building, plot-twisting, far-reaching stories, Julie has delivered the final piece of this intriguing puzzle, and it goes off as expected. With a bang.
Uncrossed brings us full circle... or maybe loop is more appropriate? Several loops? I digress. We are brought right back to the beginning in order to reach the conclusion, and in the process, almost everything we’ve learned up to now is called into question.
We finally find out how Crux fits into the bigger picture, and it’s like nothing I ever could have imagined.
I spent so much time trying to figure out what was coming next, I got to the point where I just had to force myself to stop and let it happen. There are so many elements at play, so many characters on the board, and so many sub-plots that have been happening quietly throughout the entire series, that guessing anything seemed unlikely - at least for me.
Suffice to say this is another epic journey with all the elements we know and love - action, heart, romance, danger, melancholy, and above all - hope.
It has been an absolute delight to be a visitor of Harem Station, and the ending was well and truly worth the wait.

*** Uncrossed is the final book in the Harem Station series and should be read according to series order. This review may contain spoilers if you are not yet caught up in the series. ***

In a world full of his buddies finding their soulmates and forever leaving him behind, Crux is where he has always been, back at Harem Station, running things. But with a princess uprising happening and things on the outside of the station going from bad to VERY BAD, Crux is about to start uncovering the answers he isn't so sure about wanting anymore...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Uncrossed was the nail biting conclusion to the grandiose and unforgettable Harem Station series. Crux is infatuated with Princess Corla, the woman who started it all. From the journey that utterly changed his and his friends lives, to being the mother of his children, and also an incredibly powerful weapon who could destroy them all, Corla is the beginning and the end to life as Crux knows it. And now that the time has come for answers... Crux will finally get to go on a soulmate journey of his own...
In the final battle between the Cygnians, Akeelians, and every single other thing that may exist on the entire universe, Uncrossed will take you on one bumpy AF ride. When the mysterious Crux, the man who has always been the one to be left behind, finally gets his story, nothing on Harem Station will ever be the same again...
Whew, this series was one wild and sexy, sci-fi ride... from it's beginning to it's jaw dropping end! With the answers finally here and the boys of Harem Station coming together once again, I was completely riveted and consumed with all things Crux, Corla... and everything in between...
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
Okay, that was....
Mind blown. Universe blown. Galaxy blown. Or maybe those last two need to be reversed. Galaxy blown AND Universe blown. I knew this ending to the Harem Station series was going to be supremely complex because the storyline has been SO intricate all the way through every book released so far. How Julie kept it all straight is one thing, but how she manages to lay this multilayered storyline out on the pages in a way that I actually understood is another thing altogether.
Poor Crux has spent this entire series apart from his Soulmate, Corla. They had one night together 21 years ago and then he shot her through a spin node before he and his "brothers" escaped on a ship and ended up on Harem Station. And he's been the one to stay there and run things all these years while all of his brothers all left and did their jobs, and along the way they've all found their Soulmate princesses. And now his princess Corla is on Harem Station, albeit frozen in a cryopod.
What ensues in Crux's story is a twisted tale full of spin nodes, neutrino waves, pissed off princesses, rogue AI's and multiple versions of ALCOR. Not to mention sentient ships, a whole bunch of little Akeelian boys and a huge fleet of warships trying to destroy them. Hold on tight for one hell of a ride! Or maybe I should say spin... I can't wait for everyone to find out if Crux finally gets his Soulmate princess!
Holy moly!!! Fantastic finish to series!!
I'll be honest, I really was wondering how the author was going to finish this series... I always felt so bad for Crux and Corla. Man this book was mind blowing...
Crux is a cross roads... it seems his carefully created life on Harem Station is falling apart. All of his brothers have found mates (except Draden... and I kinda feel bad that his story/love life got left out), and yet his is floating in a cryopod so she doesn't blow up.
This story has sooooo many moving parts and I almost feel going to into it will give it all away... and this is definitely a book you have to read cover to cover. Actually I kinda wished I had re-read the entire series before Uncrossed just to keep everything fresh. I will say that you definitely have to read the series in order to understand what is going on. If this is your first book to read in the series... STOP ✋... and read Star Crossed first then the others.
But wow.. that ending??? Totally blew my mind cause I was definitely not expecting that. Wow!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯 but I now have soooooooooo many questions lol.
I definitely recommend this book and the series!! You'll love it!
I recieved an ARC for my honest review.
Uncrossed by K.C. Cross aka J.A. Huss is the final installment in this sci-fi romance series. Normally I am not a sci-fi reader, but I can never say no to a JA Huss book and now I am hooked on sci-fi romance. This installment brings us the story of Crux an Akleenian male and Corla, a Cygnian silver princess or is it Queen. Crux’s story covers many POV chapters of other side characters and at times I wondered how Julie could keep them straight in her mind while writing this story, but by the end of the book it all makes sense. Crux is learning he does have a superpower. He was not just left behind to run Harem Station. Sometimes what we think is our purpose is not that at all, but something else. We should see ourselves as others see us. Perception of reality and time. Is this where we are supposed to be? Is this the end? Or is there another point that is more important? Crux is learning this as he struggles to find his place amongst his brothers and his happily ever after. What an amazing ride!
Wow such a great finale to a wonderful series
This book is Crux’s story searching for the soulmate he met for one night21 years ago but knew he could never have because he was star crossed
but all his brothers seemed to have found theirs and
with so many conflicts going on between the brothers and the princesses
He was in charge and trying to work out a way to work it all out
the Akeelians and Cynians, with so many AI’s gods and bots.
Who is the real ALCOR
Neutrino waves, time loops and spin nodes and when time freezes he enters a world in a time loop
Fighting on Harem Station, the sentient ships going out to war, the little akeelian boys and the insane combined minds of their sisters
It all comes to an explosive ending that will blow your mind
Julie certainly knows how to create a world and weave a very complicated tale and bring it all together to an epic and fantastic happy ending
I loved it
Like whoa!
I’m having a hard time putting how I feel about this book into words, but I’ll try.
I feel like this book was a lot different from the previous ones. Not in a bad way. More like I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, having read all the previous ones, but no. It’s science heavy, similar to Prison Princess, but more so. Which is so Julie (being a scientist herself)! But that is not to say that it took away from the story because I feel quite the opposite. The complex science lent to Crux’s confusion for a large portion of this book, as well as his big revelation at the end. And all of it just made the mystery that Julie spun even more twisty and entertaining.
I enjoyed this series very much. It was funny, steamy and kept you on your toes like all of Julie’s books usually do. If you like a big dose of romance with your science fiction, definitely give this series a read.
KC Cross aka JA Huss is one of my top five authors! I usually stay away from Sci-fi but was willing to follow her into this series. It was hilarious in spots, heartwarming in others. It's been a crazy ride.
This book was the most complicated of them all. I had to read it when I'd be least distracted. There were so many ends that needed tied. The twist in this was huge for me. I. DID. NOT. SEE. IT. COMING! I only wish we had more of Crux and his love together.
This was such a fun, great read. And the audio is incredible. The two narrators are male. Both men, Shane East and CJ Mission, are excellent narrators. The book rolled like a movie in my head.
I will be going back and reading/listening to these books straight through. So worth it!
*I read this book through the Kindle Unlimited program and bought the audiobook!
I've been waiting so patiently for Crux's story, and this series finale blew away my expectations! It had been a while since I read Veiled Vixen so I'm happy the author was able to "remind" us readers about where each of the previous couples stood with their respective relationships and their overall place with the current Harem Station. The Interlude Chapters also provided perspectives from the other key characters aside from Crux in this concluding story.
The complex twists and turns from the previous books seemed to get wound tighter instead of loosening up toward the conclusion, but that just ramped up the suspense level not knowing HOW this series was going to conclude satisfactorily. But my faith in KC Cross (aka JA Huss) was not misplaced as she was able to bring the story full circle that left a smile on my face for my Akeelian brothers! Bravo!!
*this story should be read after reading the rest of the series for the most enjoyment*
Fabulous! This is Crux's book, and it's nothing like where I was expecting the story to go - but this is JA Huss, and the books generally don't follow a path you're expecting. Plus I love her writing, and usually just buy and read without reading the blurb. It did take me a while to get into this book (I've been struggling with reading lately), but I did thoroughly enjoy this book.
Crux huh? The Harem Station governor, star crossed, with Corla tucked up in a cryopod, destined never to be together again. Meantime, Crux's brothers have found their soulmates. And which ALCOR is the real ALCOR? Step onto Harem Station and take a trip through time and space to see how Crux fixes the chaos and brings this band of brothers together again.
Crux’s tale is a heartbreaker, but the HEA is worth it...
This book is one wild journey. Harem Station is at a crossroads, it’s do or die time, and everyone is looking to Crux to save the day. But first he has to come to grips with the truth of his life and “Real” ALCOR, who may be “the sun god of all of the universe”, has a plan, if he can convince Crux to do it. I was so deep into Crux’s predicament, invested in his “world”, it was hard for him and I to give up on something he had worked so hard on. This universe is a mind f***, ALCORs coming out of our ears, a portal that sends people through space and time, and a conclusion I never saw coming. In a series that has been one thrill ride after another, the end is so so so sweet. LOVED IT!
ARC received from the author. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.
JA Huss wrote a great series and a very interesting ending to it. Interesting is probably the best word for it. Because it wasn’t boring by any means, but did make my head hurt. I do feel it was a very satisfying ending, even if I don’t think I got all of it, that wrapped everything up. I did enjoy Crux’s ending, since we’ve been introduced to him and Corla many times through this book, I did wonder how the author would loop it all together and bring her to a close. I think the plot twist about her was a great addition that made me full-on laugh. So, yes, by no means was it boring. Just interesting.
Explosive finale !!!!
I love this serie so much.
We finally got all the answers....
It was so interesting to know more about Crux. He was as much as a mystery as Alcor. Is was nice to see a more vulnerable side of him and see his capacity to love. The best part was when he was with his mate !!!
What can I say. Julie thank you. I love Alcor and loved all his parts that was the best for me.
It was emotional to see all the brothers finally together!!
If you are a fan of this serie or fan of science fiction this book is a most read. This word is fantastic and alluring. I can’t put it to words how wonderful is this serie, and this was the perfect end.
I just got one question unanswered what happened to booty? Are she and Alcor going to be together again?
5 Epic & Explosive Stars!!
Uncrossed is the fabulous conclusion to the phenomenal and unpredictable series, Harem Station. This is Crux's epic and thrilling quest of finding his soulmate, Princess Corla. They've been apart for 21 years and is about time he finds his HEA.
This is a delightful sci-fi fantasy romance filled with action, adventure, steamy scenes, laugh-out-loud moments, and more. Great storyline, with well-crafted, unforgettable characters, vivid descriptions, and plot twists that will get you hooked and turning the pages from start to end.
All in all, this was an exhilarating, perfect and satisfying read with a jaw-dropping ending you won't see coming. I can't wait to start listening the audible version of it!!
Uncrossed
So it’s taken me a few days to even begin to unpack everything that happened in Uncrossed. I have never read a series with so many threads running through it, building the most incredible world with truly complex characters, badass artificial intelligence and love. So much love.
Crux for me, has always been the most unknown character. The most lonely of the Harem Station brothers and it was wholly cathartic to see his brutal awakening. The truth of his life taking him to faraway places and times was a wild ride!
This book requires lots of concentration to give it justice. I had to work hard to keep up but it was so worth it to see this story to its thrilling conclusion. This has been an unforgettable series and everyone should read it!
What a finale! Crux and the gang are at the end of the road..literally..so there are decisions to be made and peace to be had..maybe!
It's as much Crux's journey as all the other brothers and their other halves, but also the AIs..very interesting concept!
It took me a while to get going, I am not sure if it's because I felt like I forgot some characters or because there are many POVs and it took me a bit to get everything straight..but about 40% I finally ingrained lol..and didn't put it down until the end!
This si not a book you can read mindlessly, let me tell you that..you need to pay attention to details..but it’s the same for every one of Julie's books.
I think it's a great ending for these characters and I couldn't be happier!
One of the things that I love about this author is her intricate world-building. The amount of details and storylines that intersect while simultaneously being a singular story is mind-boggling. Her details are precise and purposeful. This book was a prime example of that.
That being said, I struggled with too much detail with this book. Perhaps it was because there had been such a gap between book six and this one. I found myself confused or fuzzy on the details which detracted from the beauty of this story. I think this book would be better appreciated if read as a binge type scenario because it tackles physics type principles that even on a good day make me scratch my head. The ending was great and as usual, the EOBS was epic.
Super Sci-Fi Finale!!
You really must read the stories prior – as this pulls all those loose ends together and ties them off with a bow!
Time has stopped on the station. Crux is actually experiencing multiple timelines and seeing many versions of all those closest to him. Corla becomes “Carla” in an Earth version. This is confusing and annoying to him.
What is time, what is real. Interesting concepts. If you have followed this series “most” of your questions will be answered. Most characters have found their soulmates, but Crux and Corla have been star-crossed from the beginning.
A fascinating finale.
This has been an epically unique series...and the final book was no different. So twisty-turny, question upon question...one reality on top of another...what's real? What's not?
I loved reading Crux's story. It has a lot of emotion to it, you really can just feel how tired this guy is of...everything, his exhaustion runs deep. Always wanting to do the right thing...but, never really the right thing by his own self. And, this was not an easy thing to read where Crux is concerned. You really just want the very best for him...time and again it doesn't happen.
So many surprises...so much emotion. The author continues to intrigue right to the very end.
I have been waiting to read Crux story for what feels like forever!! When I started this series I instantly loved Crux and I knew his story would be the one that put all the pieces together!! I couldn’t help but fall for this hero way back in Star Crossed! His story and the finale in this series didn’t disappoint! This book is action packed and the way this author weaves her worlds is incredible! Everything she writes comes highly recommended by me but this little spin into Si-Fi Romance is a must read!!
