Savannah

I was only eighteen years old when I thought I had found my happily ever after.

After the tragic death of my mother, I married the love of my life, Ace Townsend.

Yes, we were young and idealistic, but we had it all figured out. He was going to be a fighter pilot in the Air Force. I would go to medical school to become a doctor for people who couldn’t afford healthcare. People like my mother.

But, like everything else in my life, that dream fell apart when I realized Ace was better off without me.
So I left.

Sixteen years later, I’m forced to return to Harlington, Texas. Not for my sake, but to save the one person in my life who matters to me the most.

Even if it means confronting my estranged husband and abiding by his stipulation to move in with him temporarily. If that’s what it takes for him to sign the divorce papers so that I can receive my inheritance and save an innocent life, I’ll do it.

I just have to keep my heart locked away for the next six months.

That’s proving to be easier said than done.

My Forever is an interracial romance (BWWM) and is book three in the Townsends of Texas series. This book contains mature, steamy love scenes. Happily Ever After is guaranteed.

After the death of her mother, Savannah Greyson goes to live with her less than welcoming grandmother in Harlington, TX.

It’s summer time and a knock on the door presents Savannah with a potential high school best friend named Kate.

Kate Invites Savannah to the local teen hang out at Gaines River, near the off-limits to her, Tucker Bridge which divides the haves from the have-nots.

When Ace Townsend and Savannah cast their eyes upon one another, everyone else there, cease to exist. It’s love and they are inseparable, they both know, at the tender age of 16, they’ve met The One! Eventually, there’s only one thing left to do—make it official.

They I do, but the pressures of life and a tragedy prove to be too much for their undying love. When the dust settles, all that’s left is collage of bittersweet memories.

Some years later, Savannah returns to Harlington to settle some personal business with her grandmother’s estate, but she’s not alone.

Texas is the last place Savannah wants to be, but for the sake of what she has to lose, she has to face the demons of her both past and present or die trying.

Her sheer unexpected presence knocks Ace on his ass and when he finds out the why of her return, he’s determined to punish her, but the thin line will be more than even he bargained for.

Highly, highly Recommended: Read It!

Death of a loved one causes different reactions from different people

The death of A.J. really broke both Savannah and Ace. They were so young when they married and lost their baby. Savannah was probably suffering from undiagnosed postpartum depression. She felt guilty for losing her son and, her family and in-laws, instead of giving her the support she needed made matters worse for her because they were dealing with their own personal grief of a lost loved one.

Ace was so angry with her for leaving him for sixteen years only returning for money, but he did not know her secret and she felt that he hated her and only wanted to punish her. That was Ace's intentions, to get Savannah out of his heart, mind, and soul. But as time went by, the hard walls of his plans started tumbling down being replaced by truth and real open communication and not hiding anything from each other. Besides that, Aiden worked his way into Ace's heart too. He and his family would do anything to protect their family and they came together when it was needed the most.

I loved reading this story and I cried at the angst that both Savannah and Ace went through in remembering how they met and married. Even Joel's story got to me. Savannah's grandmother had unresolved issues surrounding the death of her daughter. Savannah finally got the family she craved and Ace got back his forever love. Now that cousin of his Chael...MATE? That's interesting. I can't wait to read that story.

I knew from his cameos in Gabe book that Ace's story was going to be heatwrenching. And it was. I went in wanting to draw and quarter Savannah. No one, I mean NO ONE hurts my Townsend Boys. Redemption was not in the cards as far as I was concerned. As the story unfolded it was revealed Savannah was just as much a victim as Ace. They were both young and were not prepared to deal with the tragedy that ultimately tore them apart. Savannah's insecurities and misplaced guilt not to mention unsolicited advice caused her to "do the right thing" and remove herself from the situation.

Sixteen years later Savannah is forced back to Harlingtom for the reading of her Grandmother's will. It was supposed to be a quick in and out without anyone else being the wiser, namely her estranged husband. Her grandmother had other plans, a stipulation in the will that forced Savannah to confront her past.

I loved this story! Ace was a complete a$$ at times but it was warranted. It was a struggle , but they were able to find their way back to each other. Of course it couldn't be a Townsend book without violence, torture and a little mayhem 😉

I look forward to Chael's story. Something tells me it is going to be doozy!

ARC review. I love Tiffany Patterson so much and I’m ashamed to say this is the first book about the Texas Townsends I’ve read and absolutely loved it! Ace and Savannah were childhood sweethearts and like all Townsends, Ace knew she was the one at first sight. Alas it isn’t always smooth sailing but we’ll worry the ride. My only issue was there was barely any description of Savannah in the book and I started to doubt she was even black until it was confirmed half way through. If you’re a TP fan or a Townsend fan then you’ll love this book. I’m definitely going back to read the first Texas Townsend book now.

Omg you in for a treat 🥰

I was so excited that the third book of this series came out. I wanted to read this series in order and not have to wait months for the next one to come out.

But unfortunately I skipped the other book just to read this one. It was all paying off until I read a little bit and was a goner.

I was hooked hard and immediately jumped in and started reading. I didn't even read the book before this one. But it's okay since each book has its own story.

I really enjoy reading books where they have past history together. History as in when they meet from childhood and then blossom into adults.

I really enjoy books like these since you can really feel the chemistry between them. And get the feeling of a long history that usually ends up being very juicy. It's the growth between the two main leads that is exciting to read about.

Ace and Savannah give exactly that. They met each other when they were teens. Fell hard and even though their was people in there lives against them being together. They proceed to do what they wanted and prevail until something dire happen.

But love knows no bound and they ended up coming back into each other lives with regret, hope, anger, and of course love.

I really enjoy reading about Savannah's son Aiden. He really does grow on you and makes you smile. I love how you can see how Aiden really effected Ace. And how their relationship grew together.

I love that in this book you really get the feel that when push come to shove family sticks together, and will always be there for one another.

I am very interested in the Texas Townsend other cousin from their mother side. Tiffany Patterson is bringing out the shapeshifters here and I'm more then excited for it.

I cannot wait to read that book. This book is a must read and have. I plan on buying a physical copy. So excited and so happy reading this book.

Ace & His Forever

Can’t get enough of the Towsends men… MORE please !
They were young, but very much in love, but life circumstances ripped them apart. To Ace Savannah abandoned him & he didn’t take it well, it left him bitter and with a lot of unanswered questions. However, things never really what they seem… !?
Get a copy and see what truly happened to make Savannah bailed out on the love of her life.
Great read !!

Second chance to get it right

I hate it when I read a book by Ms. Tiffany because I get so wrapped up that I read the entire book in a day then I'm looking crazy because I have nothing to freaking read! I can't help myself with her books! I've been waiting to read Ace's story to see why he was so angry. Now I got the full story. His and Savanah's story is close to my heart because I had to give birth to my stillborn son 17 years ago. I held him in my arms, wrapped in a blanket. His father internalized his loss just as Ace did and lashed out at work. I blamed myself just as Savanah did. God had a different plan. This book was so great to read. At least they won at their second chance

Savannah and Ace married at a young age. Both dealt with some pain and losses. Unfortunately, Savannah left Ace. Years later she came back to get a divorce from Ace, but he refused.

The best part about Tiffany's books is that she gives you a journey into the characters day to day life and when you're done with the book you feel sad because you want to know what they are doing now. Again, great read.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

Tiffany Patterson as usual she killed it with My Forever. This is a Townsends of Texas book about Ace, Savannah and Aiden. I love these Townsends no matter where they're from. Ace and Savannah had a truly rough start and they were so young. Even though they loved each other so much. An heartbreaking situation caused them to separate. Savannah needed Ace for a legal matter. Neither of them knows this but it is there second chance at the love. I'm so glad Ace and Savannah reunites. Check it out, it's sexy, emotional, funny and Heartwarming with an amazing storyline!!😍🤩

Great story. Ace and Savannah kept my attention throughout the whole book. Tiffany always writes great stories and I really enjoyed this one. I read this in one night. I am glad they got their HEA. It was sad that Savannah had left Ace when they were young because of their loss and what Ace father said but I am glad they got things sorted out. I love how the Townsend men stand up for their women when someone hurts them. Ace was no different. I got this book as an ARC to give an honest review.

This isn’t your typical boy meets girl and we fall in love type story. Don’t get me wrong I love and insta-love story. I must start by saying that I love the Townsends and this new set is picking up where their cousins left off.

Ace is a tortured soul, Savannah his young wife has left him after a tragedy. So instead of processing his feelings he turns into a jerk to the opposite sex (typical). Savannah is broken after leaving her one and true love and the trauma she and Ace went through (I won’t spoil the story). By happenstance she finds herself back home with a little friend (Aiden) in tow. Savannah has no plans to stay in town, she wants to settle her grandmother’s affairs and be done. Well of course Ace has a lot to say about that. He has some stipulations on their marriage, and this is where the story begins.
I really enjoyed that as readers we got to see some of the backstory of this couple. The flash back scenes gave context to the pain and love of the story. The suspense aspect was just a bonus. I am a don’t tell me kind of reader let me see it. I did like that we got to see Savannah and Ace’s love grow in this story. There is a bit of drama in this story with crazy exes, political scheme, and kidnapping. I will say that Savannah and her secrets lead to a bit of a letdown. I was expecting more excitement when the secrets were revealed especially since it was one of the reasons, she and Ace were apart.

Aiden was a great addition to the story; I think he provided a needed healing after the loss they experienced. I am excited to see more of Chael’s story. I think he kind of stole the show, with his alpha-ness but he has an extra something that I won’t give away. Ace and Savannah was a sweet love story, with some steamy love scenes and some added drama. This wasn’t an overly complicated read, it was a nice continuation of the Townsend's. I would recommend and its on KU so give it a try. This review is based on one readers opinion, so check the story out for yourself.

This book was everything! I feel like I started off my 2022 reading the best way possible. I am a huge fan of Tiffany Patterson, and this book is one of the biggest reasons as to why! This book was sooo and it held me in its grasp the moment I read the blurb and the prologue.
Ace and Savannah will stir your every emotion and the roller coaster they experienced will also bring you aboard. There was so much to their love story and their history, and you feel for everything they encountered to get that HEA.
We meet Ace and Savannah when she arrives back in town for the reading of her grandmothers will. 16 years apart and they are both at odds due to the way they parted ways. Ace is angry, bitter, still heartbroken, and wanting Savannah out of his system for good. Savannah is sad, angry, and unsure of the Ace she sees today versus the man who had her heart. As they come to an agreement of 6 months together and then they can divorce and part ways it takes them both down memory lane.
They have a story of high school sweethearts who were suppose to be forever, but a series of events drew them apart and then ran one of them away. Watching their flashbacks you feel the love they head and the connection that they believed would never be severed. As they struggle to come to terms with the past they have a new and current fight in their future and only time will tell if it was truly meant to be all along....

The only question I had now is what will happen with Chael!! Hoping his book will be the next!

ARC Review for My Forever (Townsends of Texas Book 3) by Tiffany Patterson

There were minimal grammatical errors, nothing too big.
The story starts off with Ace looking for a ring for his first love Savannah. Being young and in love brings about hard times and self doubt. He feels Savannah deserves so much more than what he can offer. When they first meet, it's the common boy meets girl from the other side of the "bridge". When they meet it is love at first sight, but is not all roses or "sunflowers". Neither Ace or Savannah feel they are worthy of the other. After their horrible loss, Savannah come to the reality (with help) that she is not good enough for Ace, and feels he would be so much better off without her.
Forward to 16 years later, and Ace has accomplished all he set out to do, minus the happy marriage and children. Savannah didn't quite make it to being a doctor due to her own self doubt, but she got close. Savannah has found herself in a difficult situation where she is being blackmailed in order to keep her son safe. After she goes back to Harlington to settle her grandmother's estate, Ace decides to teach her a lesson, but gives himself one too. During their time together, Ace comes to care for Savannah's son and remember why he fell in love with her as well. Secrets are uncovered, treachery is brought to the light, and The Townsend men handle business like no one else when someone they love is in danger. Let me just say Chael is an interesting little nugget who I can't wait to see if he will have a story of his own.. with someone we all know and love. Enjoyed reading this story and Ace and Savannah's second chance at happiness.

I was curious to know about Ace ever since his appearance in his brother’s Gabe and Lena’s story. Of course, there is much more to the story behind his and Savannah’s marriage. When his wife Savannah returns after a long absence with a kid in tow Ace has more than his share of questions among other things. Without giving away the whole story there are some things that drew my attention. First, you get to know more about both Ace and Savannah individually. You also take a trip down memory on how the couple first met and their bumpy road to Happy Ever After. If you are new to the author then you should expect drama, action, humor, and steamy romance. I will say there are some twists I wasn’t expecting, but I had my suspicions especially when comes to Ace’s cousin Chael. Lastly, it is always good when our main couple triumphs over roadblocks and scheming characters. Another thing I enjoyed is how the author not only showcased each brother’s personality but how they each worked through their grief to find or reunite with their leading lady. I did have a few lingering questions, but I did enjoy this book. Looking forward to Chael and Reese’s story because I know that is going to be an interesting one.

Ace and Savannah have had a journey before they could have the HEA they wanted since they were teenagers. When tragedy struck, she left without a word and is now back after a long 16 years.

I'm not sure If I loved or hated the way Ace acted when he saw her again. He was a bit cruel but it was expected when the past was never cleared between them. But now she has someone breathing down her neck and she is determined to do anything and everything in her power in order to protect people she loves most. But when  he demands that she stays with him for 6months so he can get her out of his system, things start to blur again between them and when love is as strong as theirs, you can not deny its pull.

To say I cried like a baby is such an understatement. This story was powerful and heartbreaking but also filled with family and friends who love strong and all are determined to make sure one of theirs is cherished, protected and loved.

This book was so good. I was highly anticipating Ace's story and let me tell you he did not disappoint. I really loved the push and pull dynamic between Ace and Savannah and dare I say there were some definite similarities between Ace and Aaron for me. They were both so damn mad at their women for being wronged and so damn hard headed but when they both decided they were keeping their women they loved those women so damn hard and would do anything for their kids too. Ace and Aiden's relationship almost stole the whole book for me. Those two were so cute together and the way Aiden wanted to do everything Ace did and be what Ace was just had me all in my feelings and with a big smile on my face. Tiffany did her thing as usual with this installment of the Texas Townsends and I am most definitely looking forward to Chael and his brothers stories as well. I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

ARC review. After waiting impatiently for Ace's story, I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on this release and it did not disappoint! T.P gives us a comprehensive insight into the past as well as developing the story in the present in a way that keeps you invested in the characters, their journey and ultimately their growth together as well as individually. T.P is so descriptive with the emotions of the characters that you feel each one. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I was frustrated and I fell in love either the pages of this story. By the time I got to he last chapter I was begging for the story to continue. Loved the continuity and appearance of previous characters and the build up to the next story which I am eagerly anticipating. This work by T.P. is engaging, dynamic and utterly worth a read.

This is OK!

Like really that was the reason why Savannah left, that was not a good enough reason to walk away from your husband. Like you didn’t think that walking away would make him hurt even more. They made adult decisions to get married young, she should have been stronger to stay and speak with her husband heal together. Leaving did not show how much you love a person. Ace didn’t deserved that and I don’t see why he let her back in. This book is okay, and they are getting dragged out longer and longer and are sounding the same for some reason. This series to me has not been the best of what I have read from Tiffany Patterson.  The dad and her grandmother are full of it, but I am glad everything ended with a HEA that. I am looking forward to Chael and Reese’s story because don’t make her a weak character, pleaseeee!

When I read the blurb, I signed up to host the tour, because I am a sucker for second chance romance. I haven’t read any other books in the series so this was new to me.

I must say I really liked Savannah. She had a lot stacked against her with a tragic loss before she married Ace, the tragic loss while married to Ace, and the people who were against her. I really felt for Savannah. That’s a lot to take on for a new adult. From the start, I was cheering for her.

As for Ace, I felt for him, too. To be left that way without an explanation, I could very well understand his heartbreak, even his anger and resentment. Some people have a hard time moving on after being dealt such a blow, especially after not one but two losses. I won’t give away what the other loss is, or I’ll spoil the novel for others.

I love the entire series but Ace and Savannah’s story was my favorite. I love how their relationship blossomed and such a young age. One tragedy tore then apart but another brought them back together. The book goes at a steady pace so the reader gets a clear picture of Ace and Savannah’s past and current relationship. I love how Tiffany is able to interconnect each book to make you feel that you’re actually watching a movie and not reading a book. I enjoyed catching up with his brothers’ relationships and I’m patiently waiting on Reese and Chael’s story. Someone has seriously destroyed her self-confidence and that shapeshifter is going to rain hell on the person who did it!
Anyone who loves a lost love story will love this book. Great job Tiffany.

yessss

I get it, teenaged love, marriage and heartbreak. The kind of pain that runs soul deep, family so busy telling you about being to young, and so sure they know what’s best for you never realize they are the catalyst of everything you wanted crashing down around you.
Then years later that painful past has to be confronted, dealt with, the pain has to be addressed.
Welcome to Savannah and Ace’s current situation. See how the pain of the past, forgiveness of the family members for wrongs done, while still grieving what was not meant to be. A grief that was never properly dealt with, just soul consumed.
Can love and a happily ever after rise like the Phoenix from the ashes? Or Will it crash and burn like a meteor destined for annihilate all in its path?

This was such a beautiful love story! I am so glad that Ace and Savannah "finally" got their HEA! To lose a sweet baby is very traumatic and both of them lacked the support that they needed as the parents of the sweet baby boy. Anyway, not to give away too much before it has been read by others, all I want to say is that Tiffany Patterson did it again! I still like and re-read from time to time (when I don't have anything else to read) Aaron and Patience Townsends' story! Whew! This one is similar but different, of course! Now, I hope that Ms. Patterson is working on a story for Ace's cousin! I have a feeling that it will be great and may involve Savannah's friend/co-worker, Reese! Be still my heart! LOL!

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

This sweet love story is about Ace and Savannah who married young. Savannah walked away after they suffered a tragedy. Ace closed himself off from love because his wife was the only one for him.

Fast forward 16 years and Savannah comes back to TX for the reading of her grandmother's will and possible inheritance. But she needs Ace to sign dissolution paperwork in order to get the money. Would their love resurface or would bitter anger and distrust prevent their proper reunion? Delve into their wild, passionate, suspenseful ride that's definitely worth your time.

Great read as always!!!

The Townsend men are a bunch of alpha bad asses that if for some reason you end up on their bad side then you better have your affairs in order because you have come to the end of the line . I’m so glad Joel and ace as well as savannah were able to get everything out in the open and the could start anew .Reese better look out because she has I think the biggest alpha there is on her trail and she don’t stand a chance in heaven of getting away .Well until the next hit comes I think I will be doing some more rereading of Tiffany’s book like the 7 degrees of alpha’s do yourself a favor and pick up any of her books and I promise you want be sorry

If I was Savannah’s would’ve went public to ensure my son lives. He dies and mr senator is the first suspect.

Oh so Savanah has to tell you why she wants a divorce but you don’t want to say why she owes you six months.

“Why the hell would you leave this laying around for me to find?” I barked. Says the man that opened up Savannah’s belongings. Ace is pissing me off.

Ace grew on me Bc initially he was on some fuck shit. Glad he got it together. I really adored his relationship with Aiden. That was beautiful to witness.

I didn’t get Savannah’s grandmother.

This might have been my favorite out of the three brothers

against all odds

This was so good!
Savannah couldn’t catch a break! One thing after the other then having to face a lover that she ran away from 16 years ago, oh and btw they’re still married!
Ace, the hot shot pilot, was figuring out what to do next with his career by traveling to another country on assignment or staying local and close to family. He’s bitter plain and simple and has given up on love after his wife left him after a tragedy. He keeps losing people and he’s over it.
Such an amazing read - the way she developed the characters, the story, the emotions! Loved it!

Reading this Series Again

I would love 💕 to find me a man like these Townsends a true ride or die. Someone I know will have my back, always. The death of a child is always had, your filling guilty, thinking maybe you did something wrong. I cried reading this, and remembering my daughter who was stillborn. Because I didn’t cry around others, some thought I didn’t care that my baby had died. That’s a horrible thing to do to any mother who has gone through this type of trauma.
I’m glad that Savannah decided to talk to Ace, I’m mean really talk they deserve to be together.
Another one for my collection to read over & over and over. 🤗🤗🤗

ARC review:
I have admit that this book really brought me back into the this series because I find myself bore with the last two. “My Forever” is a second chase love story following Savannah the wife left and Ace the husband who had to pick up the pieces of his heart. For those who read book two this book picks up literally book two left off with Savannah walking into a bar only to be comforted with her past. As you can image their reunion was not a happy one and with add bonus of Savannah’s son with emotions are high. Not all is want it seems however, in the mean time both will be focus together until they get they want.

My only caveat for this book is the over use of flashbacks. This is just my preference I really don’t care for flashbacks and let me tell you why because when they are over used is just a distraction. For example there would plot going on the the two main characters and then BAM flashbacks. Like no I wanna stay where we are not got back. I understand having to give context to the story and characters however I just prefer to get that in the beginning and just move forward. Other then that again I was really into the story.

Side note the supernatural twist has me very very interested.
