Wilder Adventures #5

Wilder at Last

Falling for my frenemy? Out of the question.

Easton: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been giving Hanna a hard time—and she’s been giving it right back. She’s the thorn in my side, the pebble in my shoe, and the woman most likely to off me in my sleep. And the feeling is a hundred percent mutual.

So we’re both shocked to find ourselves on the same side of a project: helping Hanna win the heart of the celebrity chef hired by my family’s business to give summer workshops.

It shouldn’t be a big deal. A wardrobe evaluation. A shopping trip. Maybe some how-to-get-the-guy advice. I’m an expert on matters of the heart—or, at least matters of the mattress—and for the first time, Hanna is more interested in hearing what I have to say than in mocking me for my nickname: Easton the panty-melter.

But as Hanna starts to trust me and open up, I see her differently. She’s not so much blunt as refreshingly honest, not so much a plain Jane in baggy clothes as… deliciously curvy. And hidden under that spiky, steely exterior is a soft heart she doesn’t show anyone.

Suddenly, the project includes ogling Hanna in dressing room mirrors. Offering her kissing lessons. And desperately trying not to give in to the sizzling heat between us.

I have to let her know the plan has changed: I’ll still help her get the guy she wants. I just need to somehow convince her that it’s me.

A steamy, opposites-attract, enemies-to-lovers (or is it friends-to-lovers? So hard to tell with these two!), mountain man small-town rom com.

I actually really liked Hannah and Easton as separate characters but I’m not really a fan of the “I’m only attracted to them now after someone else showed interest in them”.

Don’t get me wrong this book was interesting but also lacking depth. Hannah’s backstory had a lot of potential and I wished it was build out a bit more.

I’m general I just needed more. Both of Hannah and Easton.

It was worth staying up till 4 in the morning to finish this book. Since the beginning, I have eagerly awaited these two, and I am beyond thrilled that they are finally here. And they are flawlessly ideal.

This book contains slow-burning relationships between coworkers, friends, and lovers in a tiny town with a large, loving family. Since they have been friends since they were young, Hanna and Easton are perhaps the only two who truly understand one another. They are renowned for their teasing and making fun of one another. And this book does not attempt to alter that.

When Hanna overhears a chat between Easton and a YouTube star named Bear, who is coming in to assist with Wilder Adventures, she immediately stops what she is doing. When Easton suggests that he might leave Wilder Adventures to work with Bear, Hanna is genuinely astonished. She would, however, adore working beside him as well. She goes outside to the boys and introduces herself rather than lurking and listening in on their talk.

Easton is shocked to see Hanna blushing and truly having feelings for Bear when she starts to develop a crush on him. As time passes, all three of them embark on a hiking trip. As this connection between Hanna and Bear grows, Easton constantly watches out for Hanna. Soon after, Hanna turns to Easton for advice on approaching Bear and practically dating him because she is rusty.

He gives in to her demands to help her. Hanna's top priority was to shop for new clothing. They went shopping together, and he did not let me down as other men may have. He helped her choose clothes in various sizes that she had selected and items that he believed would look nice on her instead of just standing about doing nothing.

When Hanna asks Bear to Kane Wilders's photography opening, he is more than happy to go. However, as night falls, Easton begins to feel differently and is forced to leave since he cannot see Hanna and Bear holding hands.

Hanna accepts Bear's invitation to go on a date. She was anxious about the probable kiss at the end of the date, though. She, therefore, approaches her friend to discuss it. Let's say Easton isn't too excited about the date because Bear plans to record the entire thing and upload it online. Although Easton knows she deserves more, he doesn't want to make her unhappy. He is, however, taken aback when Hanna requests that they practice kissing.

And they do indeed kiss. These two have been suppressing their sentiments, but after that kiss, they are forced to face them head-on. At this point, they are practically all over one another. Oh my God, how I adore them.

My Wilder heart is breaking now that this series is over with. However, the following one will be SO incredible, and we will still get hints of the Wilders, particularly Hanna and Easton!

4.5 ⭐️ So, so much better than I was expecting!

This is the fifth book in the Wilder Adventures Series, but it’s the first one I’ve read – and omg it was so f*cking good! I’m probably going to go back now and read the series in its entirety… As if my TBR wasn’t long enough, but oh well!

This is the story of Hanna and Easton. They’ve both worked at Wilder, Easton family’s business for years, and they’ve known each other since they were kids, but they’ve never really been the best of friends. They’re more sort of frenemies. They banter, they push and get in each other’s nerves constantly… But when a hot influencer comes from out to town to work with the Wilders, Hanna finds herself attracted to the new attractive man around - and Easton finds himself more and more peeved by Hanna’s developing feelings.

This book has a plus size heroine with trust issues and a love for the outdoors, food and sports (in that order), and the good vibes this book gave me are unmatched. Hanna is so amazing and funny, always ready and down to banter. And Easton is the perfect book boyfriend! He’s sweet and caring, while at the same time laid back and bit of a goofball who can (and does) gets serious when the situation calls for it. Also, this was inadvertently much spicier than I was excepting - And I loved it! The steamy scenes were wonderfully written and there’s a lot of variety and emphasis in them without taking away from the plot.

From complicated family relationships to hard lessons about life and connecting with each other - I never wanted this book to end!

SO this was my first book by Serena Bell! and let me start off by saying that i love small town romances and spicy books but i didn’t LOVE this book. i loved the characters, i thought hanna was great and i loved how wild and bold and brilliant she was! her confidence and her wittiness made me super happy and i found myself laughing at everything she said. i also loved how blunt she was! i really enjoyed easton’s character and how he inevitably admitted that he was struggling to figure out who he was. their friendship dynamic was amazing, but i just could not get past some of the language. certain verbage made me cringe soooo hard and i couldn’t get past it. it was too much at some points. but that could definitely be a personal preference. i also did not realize this was part of a series but you don’t have to read the others to understand what’s going on, but i look forward to reading the others! 3.5/5

THIS BOOK? Work of art.

I am so strongly against outside. Like I hate it. I hate the outdoors. But this book? Made me want to be an outside girly. Give me all the hiking gear, and all the hot mountain men, I am literally begging you. And if someone ever told me I'd be a simp over a man who unironically listens to Imagine Dragons? (no shade just sooo not my jam) ID THINK THEY WERE LYING! But here we are. Apparently outdoor loving, imagine dragon listening men are just my type.

This book follows Easton Wilder and Hanna Hott, who have known each other for their whole lives but have always had a friendly/enemy relationship. Enter Bear Warden who is in town to help the Wilder Business with a few outdoor expedition trips. Hanna thinks she wants him to end her drought, but we see her and Easton's relationship bloom into something a bit different when she enlists his help to get the guy.

Hanna and Easton's chemistry made me literally heat up. When I say I have never wanted a couple to just HAVE SEX more? I'm so serious. From the start of this book the chemistry was literally electric. The banter was sweet and funny, and I felt so invested in them. The fact that we went from both characters denying their attraction to the other, do all of a sudden the goose bump inducing sexual tension? Like so sorry to say but it was literally so hot and also so frustrating like I was begging for every chapter to be THEEE chapter.

Easton and Hanna were made for each other. The transition from frenemies to BEST FRIENDS (all caps because they are the best of friends) to lovers was so beautifully done. The love they have for each other from the start was so apparent. Easton being essentially the only person who Hanna trusted to even be slightly vulnerable with, and Hanna being the first person to truly see Easton was so endearing.

This book had so many good things about it. I could type a whole novel, but the last thing I will say is that Serena Bell knows how to write a man and a woman. Watching Easton discover himself and who he wanted to be throughout this book felt very special and genuine. And watching Hanna learn to trust her feelings and open up to people who loved her? It was beautiful.

Thank you NetGalley, Serena Bell and Author Collective 20 for the e-arc of Wilder At Last.

I went into reading this book with having no idea that it was apart of a series. Usually, that would've made me wait but I knew I had to read this now and I'm so glad that I did. I absolutely devoured this book and couldn't pull away from it. This rom-com is definitely a 5 star for me. I enjoyed the banter, the backstories, and the many personalities of all the characters. This childhood, frenemies to lovers story is something I feel so many people will enjoy and possibly relate to. With the main characters Hanna and Easton, you learn a lot about what they've gone through and how throughout this whole story they overcome some of the burdens that have been holding them back from happiness. opportunities and love.

I feel the author really captures how finding what you want and going for it is really worth it. I feel this book will always be something I think about and share with many others. It was just the perfect balance of everything, from jokes, spice, reality, friendships and relationships. I haven't read something this captivating and addicting in a while and I'm just so grateful to have been given an early copy to review and share my honest opinions about. With that being said, I definitely plan to read the other books in this series and experience more of the Wilder family.

I received an eARC of this book for my honest review.

I did not realize that this book was part of series, however, you don't need to read the others to read this one. They seem to be standalones, but all have the same characters.

This book follows Hanna and Easton. Hanna and Easton have a frenemies type of relationship. They had great banter and pull pranks on each other all the time. Hanna works for Easton's family at their outdoorsy activity company, Wilder Adventures. Easton is debating on leaving the family business, but has not told anyone except Hanna. Wilder Adventures hires a YouTube star, Bear, to help with marketing to get more interest in Wilder Adventures. Hanna is gushing and starts to develop a crush. Hanna ends up asking for advice on how to get Bear to notice her from Easton by blackmailing him. Easton starts to realize that he has feelings for Hanna, which makes it difficult to help her.

I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. I am going to go back and read all the rest of them and am excited for the new series that is coming out later about Hanna's brothers! I recommend this book if you like friends to lovers trope.

Overall: 4.5
Spice: 2.5

A fun finale for the Wilder family!

What You'll Find:
✔️Smalltown Romance
✔️Frenemies to Lovers
✔️Found Family
✔️Curvy Heroine
✔️Opposites Attract
✔️Dual POV

Wilder at Last tells the story of Hanna and Easton. They have grown up together and have bickered from the start. Pulling pranks on one another left and right. But when Hanna finally meets someone she wants to date, she goes to the man who has no trouble wooing women, for help... Easton. But when outfit shopping, and kissing lessons heat things up between the two of them... will the plan change?

I have read all the books in this series and really enjoyed them. They are light, fun and with some delicious sizzle. And this final book was no exception. I loved that we finally got a peek into their back story. I found myself loving Easton more and more. These two had a solid connection underneath all that bickering, and when they are FINALLY on the same page things heat up nicely!

I did find things moved very quickly though, which would make sense since they've known each other so long I guess... But I just wanted a little more development. I couldn't help but feel like something was missing for me with their story and connection.

Overall, a fun read, with some great rep and a found family feel I think many will enjoy. And it set's up a new series perfectly!

3.5 Stars

The first half of 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 felt like pretty standard friends-to-lovers reading. The sudden attraction. The shifting dynamic. The kissing practice. It was all good. I was predicting giving it a solid 3.5-4 star rating.

The second half of 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 grabbed my heart and didn't let go all the way through the ending and on to the DO-NOT-MISS bonus epilogue.

Oh. My. God. This. Book. I LOVED IT.

Hanna is complex and hilarious and lovable and so amazing. I love a heroine with a pixie cut. I loved that she was curvy, but the author didn't make that her only attribute. I loved that the hero found her totally hot without the seriously gross need other authors have to have the hero explain why he's "not like other guys" because he appreciates curves. *feminist eyeroll*

Easton is such a perfect match for Hanna. I love a good Fvckboy Finds Love and Easton has such a squishy soft center to go with all that panty-melting charm.

𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 made me snort-laugh, swoon, smile, and sigh. And the steam in this book is H-O-T! This book has everything that I love: a strong heroine, a cinnamon roll hero, found family, amazing female friendships, complex (but loving) family relationships, oh...and shower sex. All the shower sex!

I personally loved having a Bi heroine and the side character with They/Then pronouns!

You definitely need to put 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 on the top of your Spring TBR. Trust me!

𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟: Rated R / 1-4 descriptive sex scenes, may have harsh language.
𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦: past death of parent, past parent abandonment
𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗦: 2/5 - A bit of drama, but still a pretty light read.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

thank you to netgalley for this e-ARC in exchange with an honest review.

i gave this book 4.8 stars. okay first of all this book is the last book is the wilder adventures series. i’m so sad this series is already ended but i know wilder brothers will always has a special place in my heart. this book is about hanna and easton. okay they enemies but friends at the same time. so yup technically frenemies. this book has a great plot very very great. the most thing that i love is the characters development. hanna and easton’s relationship is very very fresh and full of banter. they’re soulmates. hanna has a very sad childhood and i really want to protect her. while easton, he is the youngest brother who wants to find his own identity without his brothers help. another thing that i love in this book, we have a plus size heroine who loves foods and sports. YES. this book has a lot of meaningful things. the relationship and the romance in here oh god i’m obsessed. can you imagine that we got frenemies to lovers???? ITS REALLY GOOD ESPECIALLY THE CONFESSION PART??? oh god this book and this series is everything to me and probably going to be my comfort read and the book that i will going back to time again and again. serena bell did that!! i can’t wait to read the Hott brothers series!!!

This is one of my all time favourite romance series that has a side of smut! I was so looking forward to this final installment with Hanna and Easton's story and it definitely did not let me down.

I don't want to give too much away because it is the final in the series so I will explain what this series is about. It is about the Wilder family which consists of the Mum, 5 brothers their sister. Each book focuses on one of the Wilder brothers and each is a sexy love story. The family run an outdoorsy activity company so all the men are pretty rugged. They all have very different personalities which isn't easy to make them all stand out when there are five of them, but Serena Bell definitely manages it.
This book was about the youngest Wilder brother called Easton who is known as the "panty melter" as he is definitely the lothario of the family. What I love is that we got to know Easton and his love interest in this book Hanna from the beginning so I was so desperate for this story!

This book was such a fun read. I especially loved Hanna and her finding herself and opening up in this book was a joy. Hanna and Easton have always been fun frenemies and the banter between them and the pranks they pull has always made me smile. I would have liked a little more of this in this final book as I felt that aspect reduced which was sad as it's part of them and their relationship. I also wish there had been an epilogue on the end of a few years later but there is going to be a series based on Hannas brothers so I guess we will see more of them in that series which I am super excited for!

I LOVE this series with my whole heart and it's definitely one I will go back to time and again. I personally don't think the covers do the content justice so it's definitely not a judge the book by the cover book. I am so so glad I crossed paths with the first book on Netgalley and although I have received each book as an eARC, I have also then gone and bought the physical book because I love it SO much.
It is definitely hard for indie authors to get word out about their books so if you are looking for a fantastic sexy romance series based off of a family, then please pick this one up. You really won't regret it!

Please note that I was gifted this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

EDIT: Okay so I just read an extra scene Serena gave a link to at the end of the book and THAT should have been the epilogue!!

Serena Bell has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I'm a sucker for a good family series and she has plenty! When Hanna's brothers were mentioned I knew we were going to get some more of this small town and I was right! Anyway, Hanna and Easton were great, I loved seeing them grow together throughout the series and discovering their cute childhood back story. Thanks for the ARC NetGalley! For some reason, I kept refreshing the website last night to see if anything new popped up and I literally squealed when I saw this around 9 pm!

Wilder at last : Serena Bell
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4/5

I received this book as an ARC and I really enjoyed it. I had no idea it was book 5 of a series but it’s one of those series where the books can stand on their own, too.

Hanna Hott and Easton Wilder have known one another forever it seems like, they grew up together and even work together at Easton’s family’s business. Easton has been there for Hanna through some of her most heartbreaking moments, like when her mom dies when she’s 9, but his loyalty to their friendship has never wavered. It isn’t until an influencer comes to help out Easton’s family with their business and Hanna starts showing interest that Easton realizes his feelings for Hanna go beyond far beyond friendship; Easton is in love.

The witty banter back and forth between E and H is hilarious. There are some spicy scenes but nothing obscene by my standards. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Hanna Hott and Easton Wilder have known each other most of their lives. They've worked together at Wilder Adventures since they were teenagers and have always had a love/hate relationship. Let's just say some pretty epic pranks have occurred!

Wilder Adventures gets an amazing opportunity when 'Bear', an influencer who focuses on foraging food and creating gourmet meals, collaborates with them on several guest camping trips that he films for his channel. Hanna and Easton are picked to be his core collaborators and work alongside him, which proves difficult for these frenemies!

With their lives being shared online and Bear's fans speculating, how will Hanna and Easton ensure that they and Wilder Adventures come out on top?

This is a classic frenemies to lovers book and is the fifth and final in the 'Wilder Adventures' series. I read it all in one go and loved it! The writing style was very engaging and both Hanna and Easton's characters were endearing. I appreciated that we also got an update on the other Wilder brothers and their loves from the last four books.

Thanks to @serenabellbooks for the opportunity to read this #gifted e-Advanced Reader Copy of the 5th installment of one of my new favourite romance series 😍

𝑺𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒔
For as long as Easton can remember he & Hanna have had a frenemy style relationship. Their banter is second to none.

So they're both shocked to find themelves on the same side of a project: helping Hanna win the heart of the celebrity chef hired by the Wilder family business (Ethan's family) to give summer workshops.

It shouldn’t be a big deal. After all Easton is considered an expert on matters of the heart—or, at least matters of the mattress—and for the first time, Hanna is interested in what he has to say.

But as Hanna starts to trust Easton & open up, he begins to see her differently.

Offering her kissing lessons & desperately trying not to give in to the sizzling heat between them.

But how can he let her know that he wants her....

𝑴𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔

I loved Easton from the off! Like his brothers, particularly Brody, he has that wildish demeanour with a heart of gold. He's instantly loveable & his personal growth of realising what he wants & that he needs to vocalise it if he wants to actually get it! Which I think is a lesson we can all relate to!

Hanna was a character I grew to love with every chapter, she was already a character I was intrigued by & I loved gaining more insight into her life & when her defences were so strong. Plus I love that we had a plus size, strong, gorgeous, adventures, powerful lead woman!

Hanna & Easton's interactions had me laughing out loud! They were so much fun to read, but also they take you on a beautiful journey.

Plus I loved seeing all the other characters again!

Overall I'd recommend this one to any romance fans!

I rated this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

I've had this series of books on my TBR pile for a while but got offered this one to review. Not sure why I waited so long to read it but what a great read. Easton is the youngest Wilder and isn't sure of his place but he knows he enjoys annoying Hanna. Hanna is also the youngest of her family (the Hotts) and is used to being left. I cried for Hanna at times and with both her and Easton as they realised what they meant to each other. Look out for the new series which follows Hanna's brothers return to Rush Creek.

I enjoyed this last book in the Wilder series so much! Each book just gets better and better, and Wilder at Last was my favourite, even though I didn't think it could top A Little Wilder. Hanna is outdoorsy and a bit of an outsider in a way that is very relatable, and as much as Easton is supposed to be the ladies man or "panty-melter" in the family, he seems a bit too nice for that. He is very likeable though and has always been there for Hanna without being overbearing, so I can see why so many women like him! The banter between Hanna and Easton is hilarious and I like how they have always been real and honest with each other about everything, even uncomfortable topics. I felt a little bittersweet while reading this book, as we all know there aren't any more Wilder brothers to write books about, so I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and announcement of a new related series! I can't wait to see what happens next for all the characters in the Wilder universe. For a sneak peak, don't forget about the free bonus chapter that gives us a glimpse into their future.

OMG, Easton and Hanna. This book had me a weepy mess by the end, especially with lines like:
"I didn't understand why I was saving them. But now I do. It was because they were my ballast. They were the steadiest, most dependable thing in my life. And I liked being able to look at them and know you were there. I loved being able to look at them and know you were there."
So. Many. Happy, Sighs!

Easton, the youngest Wilder, the *last* Wilder if you will, practically broke me. I've read all of his siblings' books and thought I knew him, but just like his family only saw the Easton he showed them, I didn't have a clue what kind of guy he really was, way down deep. If you've read the series, you've seen Easton and Hanna snarking at each other from the start, and if you're a regular romance reader, you were also pretty sure from the start that Serena Bell was going to give these two a book eventually. But even I, an admitted Serena Bell superfan, didn't truly see the real Easton until he showed us.

Gah, he almost broke me, y'all. As in, I was practically clutching my chest to make sure my heart wasn't going to melt right out of it when he was feeling his feelings and Hanna seemed oblivious. Or when Hanna seemed unable to believe him. Or when Hanna...you get the idea. Easton had me feeling all the things. All the time. And then I found out he's watched Bridgerton...like, I just can't even.

Not to say he overshadowed Hanna in my romance-loving heart, because he absolutely didn't. I loved Hanna too. I loved that she was unapologetic about her size and her love of food and how much she loved her job and her grandad. (OMG, her grandad. He had me snort laughing a little more than was probably healthy, not going to lie.) I loved her inability to even fudge the truth a little bit and how everything she ever thought or felt pretty much showed up on her face the minute she thought or felt it. The way she never felt like she quite belonged anywhere nearly broke me too--she wasn't one of her brothers, she wasn't one of the boys, she wasn't *quite* one of the girls, and she wasn't really a Wilder.

Except now she will be, because spoiler alert, the book is called Wilder at Last for a reason. And if you don't already know what that reason is, well...

I guess you'd better get to reading. ;)

Wilder at Last is the final book in the Wilder Adventures series, and although Easton and Hanna's story is complete here and *could* be read as a standalone, I wish you the best of luck trying to restrict yourself to a single Wilder. If you could manage to read this one first and NOT immediately put the rest of the series on your TBR, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure we could be friends. Casual acquaintances, maybe. But that's a pretty big maybe. ;)

And if you're all caught up on the Wilder series already after this one? No worries, because Hanna's got five older brothers, and they're up next, in her new series, Hott Springs Eternal. First up? Quinn's book, Hott Shot: A Steamy Rush Creek Romantic Comedy . Is it December yet???

(Also, I just have to mention--kissing practice. Bwahahahahaha!)

Rating: 4 1/2 stars / A

Fantastic romance!

Easton "Panty Melter" Wilder is the youngest of six, and is still struggling to find his purpose in life. Wanting to step out of his family-assigned role, he approaches the new celebrity wilderness chef, Bear Warden, to be considered for a job. Also wanting to work with Bear, but for decidedly other reasons, is Hanna Hott, Easton's childhood friend, co-worker, and constant nemesis. These two bicker like Statler and Waldorf, but they agree to work together with Bear because neither one wants to miss the opportunity to get what they want.

But when Hanna asks Easton to help her brush up on her dating skills in preparation for her Bear Hunt, suddenly their chemistry is undeniable and it becomes apparent that all their previous combativeness was merely a form of foreplay. Let the games begin!

I really can't overstate how exquisite their wordplay was! It was brilliantly creative, fit every situation, and was such a foundation to their friendship that it was missed when they needed to become more serious as their relationship progressed. Once they were able to return to needling each other incessantly, we knew they were over the last hurdle and had found their way back to their easy-going, comfortable emotional intimacy. There's truly never a dull moment with these two.

I really identified with Hanna, who was never able to feel like she belonged, not with her five older brothers, not with the superficial girls her age, and certainly not with the team of mountain men known as the Wilder Brothers, even though working with them is and will always be her dream job. This aspect added so much depth to the story, as Hanna's journey of self-confidence was expanded to include her relationships with the other Wilder women, Easton's sister and sisters-in-law.

I also really enjoyed watching Easton find a career path he could be passionate about, and how he opened up to his brothers, one on one, when he needed their support and advice. Both Easton and Hanna are the youngest of their siblings and the author perfectly captured all the nuanced insecurities that come with being the baby in the family.

I loved their HEA, and rejoiced with Hanna as she became accepted as a Wilder at last. I also loved the way the author set up the family history for the next series focusing on Hanna's brothers, which I'm calling in my head, "Last Will and Manipulation." One of my favorite tropes. Can't wait to see where that leads!

If you're reading this review then you're already considering this book, so I don't have to tell you that you need to click to buy it now. Read this one, then binge read the whole five-book set again. That's what I'm going to do. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Wilder at last

The most unlikely Two!

In book 5 in the Wilder Adventure series we meet the most unlikely pair in Easton and Hanna. Easton and Hanna could not be a ore unlikely pair yet somehow the get to forever. The authors writing flawless and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: Easton: For as long as I can remember, I’ve been giving Hanna a hard time and she’s been giving it right back.
I’m an expert on matters of the heart or, at least matters of the mattress.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

In the fifth and final instalment of the Wilder Adventures series (sobs), we finally get Easton and Hanna's story. Easton is the youngest brother and known as the panty-melter. Meanwhile, Hanna Hott has always worked for the Wilders and is known for her bluntness. For as long as both can remember, Hanna and Easton have always bantered, sometimes butting heads but underneath, there's a fondness there that neither seems willing to admit to. That is until celebrity chef Bear Warden walks in, and Hanna asks Easton for help with her seduction game. Soon they start seeing each other as more than combative colleagues. But who's going to make the first move? And will they be taken seriously?

I have been waiting for this story since I started this series because their chemistry has been simmering away, and I was not disappointed! Firstly, I absolutely loved Easton. Once again it was wonderful to see the man under the layers of assumptions people (myself included) had about him. And yes, he's another Wilder cinnamon roll: sweet; sexy; and absolutely adoring of the woman he falls for. I particularly loved the symbolism of the skipping stones scattered throughout the story. The Bear storyline was short and sweet, but I would happily read more about him (and hopefully Cypress) in the future. The Wilders are as hilarious and adorable as always. I always feel like I'm enveloped in a warm hug as I read about them as a group, which, of course, is a testament to the writing. I particularly enjoyed that we got lots of Brody (I can't help it, he'll always be my favourite Wilder). The Wilder women were as supportive as I've come to expect and I loved how well they knew Hanna, and what she needed. As for Hanna, well... I adored her! She was such a refreshingly complex character. I LOVED her honesty, her sass, her wit, and most of all her vulnerability (I sobbed at the tree chapter). Hanna's grandfather, Fox, was a really interesting character, and this book was THE perfect set-up story for the new series. I cannot wait to meet the Hott brothers!
At its heart, this is a beautiful story of found family and friends-to-lovers, with a side of opposites attract, and a fitting end to the Wilder Adventures series. *Chefs kiss* (see what I did there?)

Favourite Quote:

“I definitely already loved you the day your mom died. I didn’t know it in words. It took me a long time to know it in words. Mostly I just knew I needed to be where you were. I needed to give you something to hold onto. And I needed to give you a reason to laugh. That’s what I knew. But now I know all those things are love. I’m not going to stop loving you. This isn’t a lark, it isn’t temporary, it isn’t going to end.”

This series has been such a comfort to me, so I have a lot of mixed emotions about it being over 🥺 but nevertheless, Hanna & Easton’s story was the perfect way to wrap up the Wilders!

what you’ll find in “Wilder At Last”:
➖a slow burn frenemies ➡️ lovers ❤️‍🔥
➖“help me get the guy w fake kissing lessons that feel oddly real” 😗
➖a grumpy, but loyal heroine + a cinnamon roll/ladies man hero 🫶🏻💓
➖youngest sibling feels 🤧
➖lots of nosy, meddling Wilders! 🤥🤪

For two people who spent a majority of this series pranking one another and bantering endlessly, I never expected them to be so soft for each other (the skipping rocks will live in my brain for a v long time 🥹🫶🏻)

Hanna & Easton’s chemistry is page-turning, their banter is extra witty, and their shared vulnerable/unsure moments will pull on your heartstrings & attack your tear ducts! (especially if you’re a younger sibling 😮‍💨)

Also the family bond in this series makes my heart so mushy! There are so many little moments throughout each book that really reinforce their dynamic, but my favorite is getting to see which sibling each brother goes to for advice 🥹🫶🏻 (highly recommend this series to my fellow Bergman brothers lovers!)

All in all, this was a really great read and I will definitely be rereading this series in the future! Thank you sm @serenabellbooks sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review! 💓

I hadn't realized that Wilder at Last was the last in a 5 book series at first, but as each book can hold its own as a standalone, I didn't think there would be an issue with not reading the others first. It turns out I was right, I still really loved Hanna and Easton's story. But I was also wrong, in that I had so much fun with it I then decided I would simply have to read the other 4 books.

Hanna and Easton are "frenemies," clearly they are each others closest friend from the start, they just can't admit it to themselves. The banter is top notch and seeing the two of them finally starting to open up not just to each other but to their family and friends was really wonderful. The whole Wilder family is great and going back to read their stories was very enjoyable, especially when you get little hints of Hanna and Easton in the background. Plus you know I'm a sucker for dual POV interconnected romances. Even better when it's a bunch of brothers in a small town. In the end, this was my favorite of the series.

We really saved the best for last! This is Hanna and Easton's story, and if you've read the other books in this series (and seriously if you haven't, what are you waiting for???), then you know that we've seen Hanna and Easton's banter back and forth throughout as secondary characters. Well, we finally are given what we've been dying for!

When a celebrity chef comes in to help with some cross promotion and to set up the newest addition to the Wilder Adventures in a foraging and cooking gourmet meals with gathered ingredients trip, Hanna instantly wants to know what she needs to do to land him. She turns to frenemy Easton for tips since he is the pantymelter of the Wilder family. What neither Hanna nor Easton are prepared for is how they'll end up feeling about each other as Hanna's lessons go on.

I swear that every book in this series just gets better and better! I love the family dynamics in this entire series, the wonderful small town feel, and the witty banter that comes in every Wilder Brothers book, but Hanna and Easton are characters I've been waiting for. Their banter, their prnaks on each other, and their chemistry just jumped off the page for me.

I loved this series so much, and was so afraid of saying goodbye, but knowing that we will see more of Hanna and her brothers in the future has made me ecstatic! I can't wait for more!

Thanks so much to Serena Bell for providing me with an ARC of this book!

Wilder at Last was my first read from Serena Bell but it will definitely NOT be my last. I cannot wait to go back and read the rest of the Wilder siblings stories.

Easton Wilder and and Hanna have been friends for a long time, pranksters for the long haul. When Bear arrives to do some foraging for summer workshops, everyone is wanting to help out, including those two rivals. Hanna is instantly attracted to Bear and enlists Easton to help her win his heart. Kissing session, outfit shopping time and dating advice are the only things Hanna requires. But Easton may not be helping Hanna win someone else’s heart but his own.

Serena Bell instantly sucked me into the Wilder world and I was rooting for this will they or won’t they couple. The short dual point of view chapters had me sucked in from the beginning. I enjoyed the appropriately placed spice and cannot wait to dive into more of Bell’s stories. I’d suggest anyone who enjoys quick romantic comedy reads to pick up this one and become a wilder at last fan!
