A ten-day tour of Italy’s famed Piemonte region, known for its dramatic landscapes, deep traditions, and fine foods and wine. We’ll visit vibrant Torino, hunt for the world’s best truffles, visit wineries around Alba, and walk the elegant shores of Lago Maggiore.
This tour is the best way to learn about Italian lifestyle, traditions and food! I’ve been coming to the Chianti region of Tuscany since my first trip to Italy over 20 years ago. I’m so excited to bring a group here to share the atmosphere of working farms, vineyards and olive groves.

Trina fell in love with Italy over twenty years ago and has been living or traveling there ever since. A native of Kansas and a current university lecturer, Trina feels she has found her calling as a guide. To her, travel is really "higher education". Trina has been guiding tours in Italy for over 15 years and focuses on Northern Italy. When she's not traveling, she continues her studies in art and European history and lives with her astronomer husband Robert in Kaneohe, HI.
