Update, 9/14, 4:52 p.m.: Hailey Baldwin confirmed on Twitter that she is not yet married to Justin Bieber, debunking a new report from People stating the couple tied the knot at an NYC courthouse yesterday.

"I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!" she tweeted. She also shared the post on her Instagram Story to spread the word.

The wait for the Bieber-Baldwin nuptials continues...

Original story, 9/14, 2:33 p.m.: People reports that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have secretly married after quietly visiting a marriage license courthouse in New York City yesterday.

"They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone," a source close to the couple told the site. According to the photo TMZ published yesterday, Bieber and Baldwin appeared to arrive at the courthouse sans an entourage.

The news arrives two months after the couple got engaged in July in the Bahamas. They have not yet publicly addressed the wedding rumors.

A "religious source" who "spoke to the family" confirmed to People that Bieber and Baldwin are now legally married. However, they're still slated to have a ceremony "soon" to celebrate their nuptials with family and friends. "They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love," the source said.

However, TMZ also reported today that Justin and Hailey's actual wedding could take place as early as next week. The event is speculated to take out of the country, likely in Canada, Bieber's home country. The site added, "We're told they will still have a blowout party next year, but they don't want to wait that long to seal the deal."

The tabloid was also the first to report Bieber and Baldwin's courthouse cameo yesterday. Sources told the site that the pop star got emotional during the visit and told his fiancée, "I can't wait to marry you, baby." He also reportedly thanked a court official for "keeping it on the DL."

The craziest part? If Justin and Hailey did tie the knot yesterday afternoon, she still made an appearance at a Bare Minerals event later that evening.

It was previously reported that Bieber and Baldwin do not want a long engagement.
