Makeup artist Daniel Martin was catapulted into the spotlight when it was revealed that his handy work was responsible for creating Meghan Markle's royal wedding makeup in May 2018. And having been such an important part of the duchess' big day, Martin is still close to Meghan, and was lucky enough to visit her in London this week for a spot of lunch.

Sharing a gorgeous photo of an afternoon tea the Duchess of Sussex had prepared for him, Martin wrote on Instagram, "Back to our Tig days... ❤️ Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM! 🤷🏻‍♂️ 🥑🍞☕️ #foodie #foodiegram":

Martin's sweet post is a rare glimpse inside Meghan's life as a member of the royal family. Despite closing down her lifestyle website, The Tig, following news of her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan's passion for food is clearly still alive and well—and her avocado toast looks so delicious.

Martin regularly posts about his friend Meghan, and celebrates all of her major achievements, including the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook. In Meghan's first major solo project as a royal, she worked with women affected by the Grenfell Fire to create a book of recipes inspired by their community:
