Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk have gotten married after more than three years of dating, multiple outlets reported Saturday.
The Goop CEO and actress, 46, reportedly wed the 911 and American Horror Story co-creator, 47, on Saturday in a ceremony in the Hamptons. The wedding took place in the yard of a friend’s home, and was attended by celebrities including Robert Downey Jr., Jerry Seinfeld, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden and Steven Spielberg.
Paltrow herself also appeared to confirm the news on Instagram on Sunday, posting a photo of two hands — a man’s and a woman’s — wearing matching wedding bands.
Paltrow first announced her and Falchuk’s engagement in the Sex & Love-themed issue of Goop magazine, on newsstands in January, where they were photographed by Steven Pan in matching outfits.
“Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be,” Paltrow said in an accompanying story. “I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin for 11 years before a “conscious uncoupling” in 2014. She and Martin have two children together, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12.
In her Goop story, Paltrow wrote of divorce, “This used to feel like a failure; it took me a while to reframe that divorce isn’t a failure.”
