The days of having to decide between plopping a fizzy bath bomb into a tub of warm water or indulging in a bucket of fried chicken are over because finally the KFC ‘Chicken Smell Bathing Powder’ is here.

That’s right, thanks to KFC Japan you can now soak the stress away with a long, hot bath while taking in the soothing scent of fried chicken.

Shaped just like a drumstick, the fast food chain teamed up with Japanese retailer Village Vanguard – the same people that gave us soup-scented baths – to launch the limited-edition bath bomb.

But unfortunately not everyone will be able to indulge in the wonder that is a KFC bubble bath. As it stands, there are only 100 of the unconventional beauty product up for grabs and if you want to get your hands on one you need to be based in Japan and enter a competition.

Running from 1 November to 15 November, aside from winning the chance to revel in an explosion of 11 secret herbs and spices, the lucky recipients will also be given a red and white KFC-branded box and a coupon for a Secret Combination Pack of chicken.

To enter and have the change of winning a KFC bath bomb, all you need to do is retweet the KFC tweet below.

Despite this not being the brand’s first foray into scented products – there’s been fried chicken sunscreen, candles and even a lip balm –social media users have reacted in their hundreds to the controversial launch and unsurprisingly it seems to have divided opinon.

“Be thankful you exist at the same time as kfc bath bombs,” one person wrote.

Another added, “The thought of KFC’s fried chicken bath bomb makes me feel sick.”
