Happy Monday friends and welcome to another Paint A Flower release by Altenew called Clematis. This release also has the new Artist Marker collection Set F and G which has some really pretty colors in them. For my card today I used Woodless Watercolor pencils and the new Artist Markers set F and G to create a semi faux Watercolor look.
Start by stamping the image with Jet Black ink on a Bristol Smooth White card stock twice. Bristol smooth paper holds watercolor well and works well with Alcohol markers for the result I was going for.
Color the flowers using light shades of yellow and blue all over using Woodless Watercolors, let it dry completely. When dry the flowers will have a very soft tint of the blues and yellows as watercolors dry lighter.
When dry add depths using Artist Markers by dabbing them on the surface. The bristol paper bleeds easily which helps the ink move . The dabbing helps the image look as if watercolored
I also used colorless blender to do so tip to tip coloring for the lighter blue flowers.
Do the same for the leaves. Use light green watercolor fro the base and then dab in the Artist Markers for adding details and depth to the leaves.
Fussy cut the entire floral image from one of the stamped images excluding the fence. From the second stamped image fussy cut a few floral clusters.
Stamp the Clematis stamp once more on a White Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Altenew Obsedian ink. ( Because, I used only Watercolors for this part )
Color the fence a light gray shade watercolor. Also color the background in a teal blue shade fading it into the white.
Adhere the fussy cut flower cluster to the fence on top part of the card panel uisng foam adhesive
Adhere the smaller cluster to the bottom corner using foam adhesive. Make sure to add some teal watercolor before adhering the floral cluster.
Stamp the sentiment Beautiful using Altenew Dusk Crisp Dye ink. Stamp and emboss the additional sentiment with white embossing powder on black card stock.
Add a few scattering of white pearls around the flowers and mount this panel on to a top folding white note card.
