Head of Office means a Gazetted Officer declared as such by the Head of the Department under Rule 3 of these Rules;
Judicial office means the office filled by any judicial officer.

Residential address means the physical location where the student’s parents, legal guardians, persons having legal, lawful control of the student under order of a court, or persons standing in loco parentis reside. Legitimate law enforcement purpose means a goal within the lawful authority of an officer that is to be achieved through methods or conduct condoned by the officer’s appointing authority.

Breach of Agreement provisions of Section 5(a)(ii) will apply to Party A and will not apply to Party B.
Transfer Office means the place where the principal register is situate for the time being.
County office means any officer, department, board, commission, agency, court, or other instrumentality of a county.
Deprivation of custody means transfer of legal custody by the court from a parent or the parents or a previous legal custodian to another person, agency, or institution.
Breach of Security means the occurrence of unauthorised access to or use of the Premises, the Services, the Contractor system or any ICT or data (including the Authority’s Data) used by the Authority or the Contractor in connection with this Contract.
Victim of sexual assault means an individual against whom a sexual offense has been committed as described in ORS 163.467 or 163.525; or any other individual designated as a victim of sexual assault by rule adopted under ORS 659A.805.
Catastrophic injury or illness means a life-threatening injury or illness of an employee or a member of an employee's immediate family that totally incapacitates the employee from work, as verified by a licensed physician, and forces the employee to exhaust all leave time earned by that employee, resulting in the loss of compensation from the state for the employee. Conditions that are short-term in nature, including, but not limited to, common illnesses such as influenza and the measles, and common injuries, are not catastrophic. Chronic illnesses or injuries, such as cancer or major surgery, that result in intermittent absences from work and that are long-term in nature and require long recuperation periods may be considered catastrophic.
County of residence means the county in this state in which, at the time a person applies for or receives services, the person is living and has established an ongoing presence with the declared, good faith intention of living in the county for a permanent or indefinite period of time. The county of residence of a person who is a homeless person is the county where the homeless person usually sleeps. A person maintains residency in the county in which the person last resided while the person is present in another county receiving services in a hospital, a correctional facility, a halfway house for community-based corrections or substance-related treatment, a nursing facility, an intermediate care facility for persons with an intellectual disability, or a residential care facility, or for the purpose of attending a college or university. Personal Effects means personal items regularly worn or carried on the person for his/her personal use, for example clothing, watch, wallet.
