FIT North America will hold a conference on educating the next generation of TTIs (translators, terminologists, and interpreters) in Monterey, California on the well-known MIIS campus. The primary purpose of the conference is to bring together people of North America (Canada, the United States, and Mexico) who believe there should be a next generation of TTIs and want to do something about it. Among others, we hope to see a representative from most, if not all, programs in North America that educate TTIs, thus strengthening a community of educators that will continue and grow after the conference. The secondary purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for presenting aspects of educating the next generation of TTIs. We look forward to welcoming you to NextGen in Monterey, October 5-7.
