About us
We're the Girl Scouts and we're 2.6 million strong! At Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, we connect girls to a world of possibilities in a positive and inclusive, girl-led environment. With us, girls are inspired to discover their passions and empowered to reach their full potential through a proven leadership development program. Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, a charter of Girl Scouts of the USA, serves 25,000 girls in grades K-12 and 12,000 adult members in Ashtabula, Carroll, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Sandusky, Seneca, Stark, Summit, Trumbull and Tuscarawas Counties. Membership is extended to girls in grades K-12 and adults ages 18 and older regardless of race, color, ethnicity, creed, national origin, socio-economic status, gender, or disability who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives - like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. Members of Girl Scout Troop 91105 come from seven different schools, six different school districts, and five different towns. Working together, they wanted to propose a change to GSNEO bylaws, which would change bylaw language to allow all registered members - aged 14 and older - to vote in the service unit they are active with, instead of where they reside. These Girl Scouts saw an opportunity that would allow for a quorum to be more easily reached and would allow the voice of members to be heard where they are needed, took action, and proposed a change that will positively impact the council for years to come. On Saturday, April 13 at GSNEO's Annual Meeting of the General Assembly, their proposal was met with a unanimous "in favor" vote, meaning their bylaw proposal PASSED! Fantastic job Girl Scouts, we are so proud of you!💚 For more information, visit gsneo.org/strategy.

Thank you to our partners at Regency Construction Services, Inc., Cleveland Builds, and the Washkewicz College of Engineering at Cleveland State University for hosting the Make a Better World badge program. Girl Scouts participated in hands-on activities in making, crafting, and tinkering towards a better world and crossed off steps to our new maker badges. The program was made possible by the generosity of Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Full circle moments like this remind us how strong the Girl Scout Movement and sisterhood is! Thank you for sharing Claudia Diaz Singer, MSPOD 💚
Heartfelt leader committed to a workplace culture that not only attracts top talent but also ensures that every individual can thrive and contribute to the organization's success.
“The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers.” — Juliette Gordon Low I am humbled to continue as a Director-at-Large, Board of Directors for girl scouts of north east Ohio. Today, we celebrated the many amazing people who give time, talent and treasure to the thousands of girls who become women that continue to make a difference in our world. It was also a beautiful surprise to see my troop leader, whom made an enormous impact on me over 35+ years ago and continues to do so today! It was heartwarming and amazing to be able to tell her, THANK YOU. Congratulations Tina Wilson! #GirlScouts Jane Christyson
