Speaking
I love presenting! Each presentation is engaging, dynamic and interactive. My goal is to help audiences to think differently about diversity, to understand the importance of inclusion, and inspire the creation of healthy workplace communities. Clients include Ontario Building Trades Association, Ontario Tourism Information Centres, Ontario Hospital Association, Caledon Community Services.
Signature Methodology
I have a signature methodology that I use with organizations to assist in the creation of healthy workplace communities. It's called the ABCs of Inclusion and works on two premises - that inclusion is an outcome and that leadership has to "get it" and build their capacity first, in order for change to be effective.
Workshop Facilitation
I design and deliver customized workshops to help raise awareness and understanding about diversity and inclusion in order to increase employee satisfaction, productivity, engagement, recruitment and retention, client care and customer satisfaction. Clients include FreshBooks, KPMG, Girl Guides of Canada, Toronto Public Library, Egale.
Strategy Writing
Strategy drives change and helps solidify commitment to diversity and inclusion. I have written diversity strategies for the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and The Central LHIN through the Canadian Mental Health Association. My LGBTQ engagement strategy at CAMH led to significant changes in their Gender Identity Clinic and processes with transgender clients.
Consulting
Walking with Executive Directors and Executives Teams as their organization or company embarks on the D&I journey is a privilege. It allows me to support the process, and offer guidance and insight including policy review and training. Clients include the Evolutionary Business Council.
