Meghan Markle fans are convinced she's having a girl after a clip claiming to be from inside the Duchess' baby shower has emerged.

The video shows beautifully made pastel coloured desserts laid on a table which claims to be from the Mark Hotel, New York, last week.

Flowers and macaroons also make up part of the display, and the theme appears to be pale pinks, greens and white.

Posted by Instagram account harry_meghan_updates, the 'story' includes the hashtag 'girl'.

One wrote on Twitter : "Does Meghan Markle's pink baby shower decor mean she's having a girl?"

Another wrote: "Of course Meghan Markle will have a baby girl."

The sex of the baby has not been confirmed however, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have previously said they are not finding out until the birth.

The dessert buffet for guests at Meghan's baby shower was designed by illustrator Darcy Miller and featured four macaroon towers from Laduree costing a total of $460, according to the Daily Mail.

Cookies which say 'baby' on them can be seen in the clip, which reportedly match the ones previously shared by Meghan's make up artist Daniel Martin on Instagram.

One cake has what appears to be illustrated cut outs of Meghan and Harry next to a pram propped on the top.

The video is re-posted from another Instagram story and it is not known who filmed the clip.

Beautiful floral bouquets from Meghan's lavish baby shower were donated to charities helping to bring smiles to patients' faces.

The Duchess of Sussex and her close friends celebrated the upcoming arrival of her royal baby - due in spring - in New York last week.

As part of the trip, her pals threw her a luxury baby shower at the five-star Mark Hotel, and some of the celebrity guests included Amal Clooney and Serena Williams.

At the event they did a flower arranging session, it was revealed.

Meghan is said to have then contacted Repeat Roses, an organisation based in New York which was founded by Jennifer Grove in 2014.

The company collects flowers from weddings and corporate events and redesigns them into small bedside bouquets to be delivered to patients in hospices, cancer treatment centres, mental health facilities, as well as domestic abuse and homeless shelters.

The organisation later returns to these donation sites and collect the flowers to compost them, ensuring they are disposed of in the most eco-responsible manner possible.

Repeat Roses collected Meghan's baby shower flowers from the Mark Hotel's penthouse before delivering them to charities which included young patients at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New York, the Daily Mail reports.

Heartwarming photographs show patients of all ages beaming with smiles as they pose with the bunches of flowers donated by the Duchess.

The organisation wrote on its Instagram account that they were honoured to distribute the bouquets to some of their neighbour organisations.

They said the kind gesture brought smiles to patients' faces.
