Kindred – Natural Gas Expansion Project
Montana-Dakota is researching the feasibility of extending natural gas service to the community of Kindred. Montana-Dakota representatives held a public meeting in Kindred on February 21st to answer any questions regarding natural gas service in Kindred. To begin construction in the Summer of 2024, Montana-Dakota will need to make its final determination on the economic feasibility of the project by the end of March 2024. It is estimated that a commitment from 40% of the residential and commercial customers in Kindred will be needed to move forward with this project.
