OTDA Spring 2018 Institute for Educators

Join us for a FREE institute to learn about organ & tissue donation and exciting ways in which you can incorporate this awareness into secondary school curriculum and activities. This is a professional development opportunity for educators, school nurses, and administrators sponsored by the Organ & Tissue Donation Awareness (OTDA) Project, Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Planned sessions are: showcase of mini-grant recipients' school activities, real life stories of organ donation & receiving, organ donation 101, the amazing advancement of organ & tissue donation in the medical field, mini-grant writing basics, and more! There is no registration fee for the Institute; registration will be from 12-1pm on Thursday, May 10 and the institute will conclude by noon on Friday, May 11.

For registrations prior to April 6th,, complimentary one night's lodging (double occupancy) is available. (Registrants indicating a single room will be responsible for the remaining cost of the room. An e-mail will be sent to you requesting your lodging preference single/double/preferred roommate).

Lunch on May 10 and brunch on May 11 is included for each registrant.

NOTE: Act 48 will be available upon completion of the institute.
