Those not in favor of Governor Rick Scott also attended the “Make Washington Work” Bus Tour Event. Several protestors arrived at Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant. Those protesting carried signs and vocalized their opinions on the current governor.

One protestor said they don’t agree with Governor Scott’s ideas. They said they don’t believe he will make the right changes if he wins the senate race.

“We want someone that is a leader, someone that cares about our state, about social security, about our health care benefits, really importantly we. care about the environment,” said Beverly Wall, event protestor.

Protestors said they hope to see Senator Bill Nelson stay in office.
