Program Outcomes Term: 1244
Position beverage alcohol products appropriately in local and global markets using current techniques, including but not limited to merchandising, brand management, marketing, and analytics of consumer behavior.
Comply with applicable provincial, federal and international regulatory and trade requirements to produce, package and distribute alcoholic beverages safely and legally.
Develop strategies to maximize market opportunities and increased tourism using gastronomy and hospitality events, experiences and practices.
Apply best business practices and strategies related to financial and human resource management in the beverage alcohol industry.
Evaluate the range of styles and quality levels/attributes of alcoholic beverages.
Investigate/Interpret the many factors of production that lead to the range of styles and qualities of alcoholic beverages.
Manage inventory, supplier relationships and the procurement of goods and services according industry best practices and financial and regulatory constraints.
Apply entrepreneurial strategies to identify and respond to new local and global opportunities in the alcohol beverage industry.

- Proof of English proficiency

Program Requirements
Transportation
- Students are responsible for their own transportation in order to complete program requirements which may not be readily accessible by public transportation.

Program requirements could include co-ops, placements, volunteer requirements, practical labs, field projects, assignments, clinicals, or any other off-campus visits required as part of the program’s curriculum.
Computer/Technology Requirements
In order to successfully complete studies at Niagara College, it is recommended that each student have access to a personal computer or laptop. Niagara College’s Open Access Labs offer computers on campus, but availability cannot be guaranteed and some program software may not be available on open access computers. If there are additional computer/technology requirements they will be identified on this page.
COVID-19 has impacted the delivery type (online vs on-campus) and computer/technology requirements of many Niagara College programs. Due to the fluid nature of the COVID-19 situation, computer/technology requirements may be subject to change.

What is your tuition estimate?
Your tuition estimation includes tuition, ancillary, and material fees based on a program and term. Fees may vary upon enrolment into specific courses that are outside of the core curriculum or elective courses. Fees for future terms (where fees have yet to be published) are estimates based on the current academic year fee structure.
Additional fees include textbooks and a parking pass (if parking on campus). Additional costs may be incurred for optional field trips, learning materials, equipment or clothing. All costs associated with program requirements are the responsibility of the student.
Note: For new programs tuition and fees may not yet be available. Typically tuition amounts are available in May for the next academic year. Please check back.
