About the Event

Congratulations!  You are registering your child for the NCWDOT Level 4/5  Swim Clinic. Your participation helps to ensure that we eliminate future generations of non-swimmers in our community. This  NCWDOT Swim Clinic will be held on Friday. This class is perfect for a child who is comfortable in the water and ready to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers. If  your child does not fit this criteria, please do not register for this program. We offer swim lessons with various levels of experience.

What your child will learn-

  • Level 4: Elephant-Snout fish Stroke Improvement: Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke and gain additional aquatic skills.
  • Level 5:  Tigerfish Stroke Refinement: Guidance allows kids to refine their strokes and become more efficient swimmers. Swimming and Skill Proficiency: Students will learn to swim with ease and efficiency, and gain the ability to swim smoothly over greater distances. Swimmers will also have the option to participate in more advanced courses(Swim Team Development).

Because this is a free swim clinic, we need your commitment as parent to ensure your child attends each session you selected and arrives at least 10 minutes before class starts. If you are late or miss your session we cannot ensure the drown proofing and progress of the swimmer. It takes a village to support change and we need your commitment to make this happen!

Please read all information below and reply to this email if you have any questions.

Upon your arrival, you will check in at Guest Services. Please arrive early to ensure your child gets to experience the entire class.

What you will need for the Clinic:

All swimmers must wear a proper swimsuit; Boys- Swim trunks (no underwear is to be worn under trunks). Girls- One piece Swim Suit.   (No cut offs or basketball shorts, tee shirts or cover ups worn in the pool). No water shoes allowed in pool.
