Houston is served by George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). Approximate distances from downtown Houston: IAH — 23 miles north of downtown Houston; HOU — 7 miles south of downtown Houston.
Traveling in Houston
MASS TRANSIT OPTIONS
The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) operates bus, light rail, high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) and high-occupancy toll (HOT) express lanes, and paratransit service throughout the city and much of Harris County.
METRO has six downtown METRORail stations conveniently located within walking distance from many downtown hotels.
METRO offers direct bus service to Houston’s IAH and HOU airports for $1.25 each way.
- To George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH): Take the 102 Bush IAH Express. The bus arrives at Terminal C.
- To William P. Hobby Airport (HOU): Take the 73 Bellfort.
